Sirius: Could you guys back up a little? You’re making me claustrophobic
Regulus: What’s that?
Narcissa: He’s scared of Santa Claus

Regulus: Stop it BELLA YOU’RE SCARING HIM
actualizado, AL FIN!

when remus says that sirius always got the women, i have always read it as someone who was simultaneously amused by it and personally wronged by it, not on purpose ofc, but like maybe there was a girl he liked that had a major crush on sirius, the friend he loves but couldn’t help but feel he always had it way easier than him on lots of things.
Peter betraying the people who accepted him more than anyone else ever did? Nah. That’s bad writing, not canon.
the only way i see sirius proposing to marlene is this:
they’ve been a situationship for years. they’re okay with it. it works for them. makes everyone mad but fuck them, it’s their lives. it’s their personal business.
but then, in the midst of a war they’re starting to believe might actually lose (it’s has been a very very bad few months people), they get together. sirius drinks a bit more than usual. and so he asks marlene if she thinks what they have could be more.
if they should take things to the next level.
marlene is kinda lost at the beginning.
then she thinks he’s asking her to be his girlfriend.
sirius insists, she’s there. he’s there. they always go out of their way to be there for each other. they could take things to the next next level.
and then it sinks.
he’s talking marriage.
sirius never actually says it, but rectifies by saying: forget it, i’m drunk, i’ll probably die soon anyway.
she ends up dying instead.
My new fave work and a little bit of James and Lily fanart to start the day
instead of ai writing stories i need technology that i can plug into my brain at night so it can turn all those sleepless thoughts into actual words on a screen so i could potentially write more efficiently, thank very much.
also no stealing from my brain.
Narcissa stands out as one of the most attractive women to me. I love her quiet strength so much. Sharp and refined features, I don't care if she's the blonde and icy blue eyes cliche, it's her aristocrat beauty. She has a calm, steady gaze, one that would never beg for attention but commands it all the same. Also I love how she holds herself, she is elegant without trying to be, her posture is straight, her movements smooth, even under pressure she doesn't fall apart. She chooses her actions with precision, especially in moments that matter most, and her decision to protect her son at all costs gives her a kind of strength that adds to her appeal. It shows she is more than looks. I might be just mindlessly saying, but Narcissa's entire beauty and actions lies in her restraint. She doesn't seek the spotlight but she leaves an impression. She's cold and composed, sometimes ignored, cast aside, but internally she's raw fire, her loyalty, her love towards what truly matters and her choices. She's one of the most compelling women in the story

day 14 - dancing under the rain - blackinnon - @blackinnonfest
she loved to hear her friends' stories about their holidays in remote places. after all, that was what wizards were like, always secluded, hiding from muggles, either by getting as far away from them as possible or by using spells to repel them.
lily, however, shared different stories and had made them all jealous.
that was how they all turn up camping, the muggle way, on a site near the beach. the state of their world was so bleak, they knew there was a chance that for it to be only opportunity they could all be together that way. a group of teenage wizards and witches living the muggle way, if only for a few days.
what none of them had accounted it for, was the rain. it was supposed to be mid summer for merlin's sake. they were all sheltered under their tents, waiting for it to pass. it had been whole day by then.
"oh for god's sake, this is stupid" marlene said, getting out of the tent she was sharing with sirius.
"what are you doing? get back here!" sirius shouted, pocking his head out the tent. "there's no fire, mckinnon, we won't be able to warm your clothes if you get them all wet, you'll catch a cold" he was aware he sounded to motherly for his usual disregard of common sense, but he wasn't particularly interested in sharing a tent with a sick person, even if it was his girl.
"we'll use magic then" she replied.
"what's going on?" james head appeared out of his own tent.
"what's happening?" lily's voice join in.
"i'm going out for a walk" marlene stated.
"you can't!" lily shouted, emerging from under james' head.
"watch me!" marlene shouted back as she started running in the direction of the beach.
"oh for fuck's sake" sirius hissed, getting to his feet and running after her.
when he finally reached her, she was laughing, trying to get away from the waves as they make their ways to her feet before retrieving once more.
it was silly, giving the fact that after spending as much as ten seconds under the rain, both he and marlene were soaking wet.
but she, sirius could tell, was having too much fun, it was contagious, her laugh, the way her curls stick to her face.
he ran towards her and picked her up. marlene yelped in delight. he managed to run a few feet before putting her down again.
marlene hands landed on his chest, a broad smile on her face.
"what about the cold?" she asked.
"there's no muggles around, mckinnon" he replied.
marlene head turn to take a look at the beach. sirius was right, they were the only ones left.
"guess we'll have to use magic then" she laugh, getting on her tip toes to land a kiss on sirius' lips.
she loved he was the only guy tall enough to required for her to strech out to get to his level.
after that, sirius turn her on his arms, as if they have been dancing, and when he pulled her closed again, marlene had the fleeting though that right there, that moment with sirius, was all the magic they needed.
seconds later, they were joined by lily and james, the only ones brave enough to get under the rain, and spent the rest of the afternoon chasing each other, laughing and screaming, just as regular teenagers should do.
