some of you need to hear this. if you go after the chinese fandom for the way they perceive genshin impact, you’re the problem. it’s been proven there’s many mistranslations between the original chinese text and the western translation of genshin lore. in the eastern lore, kaeya and diluc are swore brothers, which is a very popular bl troupe. in the western translation, they are adopted brothers. both are valid and both are whatever you want to focus on. dear western fandom, genshin impact was not made for us. we’re very lucky to have gotten a translation in english and availability to play but that’s all. stop attacking chinese fans of the game for what is ingrained in their culture. too many westerners are being blatantly racist and xenophobic over fictional, video game characters and it needs to stop. it’s disgusting. you are the problem
