lokius as ship tropes or, i know we said "there's a fanfic writer loose in the marvel scriptwriters room" as a joke, but i don't think it's a joke anymore.
does anyone else ever get this feeling, whenever you go to a body of water, something euphoric just wells up inside of you??? like... the way that sea foam tickles your skin, or how the first cold splash invigorates you?? or how about when you dive down to the bottom, and you look up just to watch the sunlight shimmer through the surface???? OOOHHH or maybe that feeling you get when the wave beneath you begins to recede, and you dig your toes and fingers into the sand while watching the water race past you?? and don't get me STARTED on aquarium visitsβ
I am not a person who follows any particular religion or form of spirituality, though I do study mythologies of all kinds. Paganism is something I'm highly fond of. Which is why it's so satisfying to see how Loki's mere presence in discussion creates such chaotic upheaval and passionate argument, regardless of which version (popular fiction, modern pagan, or mythology) is being discussed. It's the closest thing I've seen to proof that a god exists and is extremely pleased with himself.

Forgotten by the world, but not by nature.
eat delicious things in every sense. savor novels that unravel slowly, like decadent meals for the mind. let sunlight kiss ur skin, bask in its warmth like an endless summer. hold close the people who make you feel alive, kiss them tenderly, love them fiercely. laugh at bad jokes, the kind that make you roll ur eyes but secretly smile. plant basil on your windowsill, water it with care, breathe in its fragrance as you stir it into your meals. be unafraid to indulge in beauty, to notice it everywhere and to consume it greedily. there is no virtue in starving yourself of joy, no wisdom in rationing delight.
Relax. Iβm on your side, okay? But I have to play the game.
