Love is a dagger
Wear shades of green, black, and gold.
Do my makeup. Especially in a dramatic way (I see it as a way of shapeshifting)
Laugh at stupid shit ESPECIALLY when no one else gets it.
Listen to comedy podcasts/stand up with Him. (Especially Chris D'Elia)
Be undoubtedly and unapologetically myself.
Support my friends, and those who need it. (LGBT community, Black Lives Matter, Planned Parenthood, etc)
Compliment people when they wear things that you know they like but are worried about what other people might think.
Volunteer/ help out those in need.
Eat gingerbread cookies. Or anything with cinnamon in it.
Drink cider.
Admire nature, and the animals in it. Find beauty in all of them, not just puppies and kittens, but alligators and rats too.
Decorate your home and yourself in snakes.
Be proud of yourself. You’re awesome, and beautiful just the way you are.
Clean or redecorate your house/room.
Light incense.
Make blueberry gin or whatever cocktail you prefer.
Throw a party.
Be a misfit, be friends with misfits.
Listen to The Misfits (or other punk bands)
Play with children and encourage them to use their imaginations as much as possible.
Tell stories.
Believe in crazy and impossible things.
Take no shit.
Mess around with people (take that as you may)
Learn a ‘useless’ talent. Like, speaking Morse code, or playing the spoons. (No talent is useless but maybe these aren’t as useful)
Don’t take yourself or life too seriously.
Don’t give a fuck about what people think of you.
Speak your mind.
Say no when you need it.
Say yes when you want to.
Read old, sad poetry and then visit those sad poets graves with flowers.
Can't be sincerely dark without being called edgy, can't be sincerely emotional without being called melodramatic, can't be sincerely silly without being called stupid. They're gonna hate every emotion you put in your art no matter what so make it anyway and be as sincere as you can be
