it's interesting how different the raw materials are, and get treated, compared to the typical modern paper. using bark and straw instead of just wood, and such a long, repetitive process to get them broken down... hard work, but the result looks really good. i suppose it's still less arduous than trying to turn solid wood to pulp without powerful machines.
how do people make papers for traditional painting and calligraphy in the past by chinese artist 山白shan bai
Finally done with the animations.. expect a release soon
I promised some screenshots of the DP scugs so here's Riv and Saint
heya, i'm silver. your local suffering artist gamer creature. i'm a shapeshifter that prefers the form of a winged cat, though i can be many things.
asks welcome, and feel free to chat long as you aren't a creep or hater. please don't mind if i come off strange, i genuinely don't know how to phrase things, and am very nervous, for good reason.
no nsfw anything unless i state i'm fine with talking about something specific. and i will block people who mistreat me or communities i'm part of, don't be surprised.
art/fandom blog is @dimensionally-confused-silver which i wish i was more active on.
Hihi idk wut ur general ask rules are, but um i figured i may as well ask and hope im not too annoying lol. You make really beautiful moodboards and i was wondering if you could maybe make a winged cat one? Ty if you can and dw if not, have a wonderful day regardless :3
Sorry I couldnt find many with feathered wings! Not many unknown facts about cats for me to provide but there is one kind gross one about winged cats. Some cats actually can have 'wings', due to feline cutaneous asthenia. It is a condition related to ehlers danlos syndrome, it causes skin growth that can resemble wings. Some cats have been documented to have supernumerary limbs (extra partial limbs) that can resemble wings, and may include bone and muscular tissue.
you are not you.
and yet i still see you.
i see the wings beneath your clothes, rustling and trying to get used to being so small.
i see the horns beneath your hair, threatening to grow and point towards the skies like they did before.
i see the claws beneath your nails, wanting to poke free and scratch at the bark of the nearest tree.
i see the pads on your hands, soft and invisible, waiting to touch the snow of tundras again.
you are not you.
and yet i still see you.
@mothcrumbs it's multiplying
welcome to the cenozoic fucko
