Even though I was sad to see it go so soon, I wasn't gonna draw anything for yesterday because I never got to fully experience the first Splatoon, though after watching people stream its last moments and hear a bunch of their stories I felt this loss harder than I expected
So here's something simple from me to show my endless grattitude
For being the foundation of my favorite franchise and for being a legend... You'll live in our hearts forever, #GoodbyeSplatoon1
i think im just not worth getting close to
just lost a shift on wave three with 20/21 eggs because one rando insisted on spending the wave standing next to a pile of eggs and this-waying, instead of bringing the damn eggs to the basket. never thought this would still happen in next wave with egg throw.
dear people who might be reading this: please don't do that. it's frustrating for everyone involved.
just saw this clip and i think itd make a funny reaction image what do u think... does it have potential
i love being around weird people.
like, i'll get to point out a moving company mascot (kangaroo with four wheels instead of hind legs, a pouch big enough to fit furniture, and a very.. expressive face) to my homophobic brother, tell him i know someone who'd want to be that, and watch his brain implode in real time.
I also need to prove this point to my mom
Dumpster baby fuzziness update: appears to be sprouting full body white eyelashes. Kinda soft but not that soft??
you know if you’re gonna include in-universe art in your work that’s supposed to be really good, you need to be damn confident in your own abilities to pull that off. Like if your character is a great poet and you actually wanna show some of their poetry you need to be a really good poet to pull that off and make it believable. which is why every day I’m impressed that the splatoon people did in fact successfully make a song that would make me defect to squid society
Shiver’s passive-aggressiveness flying right over Marina’s head has gotta be one of my favorite parts of the song ngl.
Shiver is written with the stereotypical Kyoto personality, where they use a lot of backhanded compliments and passive-aggression, which is why that is their style of “dissing”.
Marina, though, is far too earnest to pick up on it, and instead compliments Shiver. Babygirl you are so autistic
-(thee/they/any)- lives on the internet, very invested in multiple games, even ones i can't even get (they generate enrichment in the brain centrifuge) ✨holy trinity of artist, furry and otherkin✨ (notably full of disease and mental illness)
