getting to listen to a new taylor swift song but then it turns out it has some of the most painful, gut wrenching lyrics she’s ever written
The new Barbie trailer absolutely FUCKS, I love it so much I'm going insane. There's nothing I love more than existentialism and pretty aesthetic.
Me all season: Ted is going back to Kansas at the end of the series. Obviously he needs to be with Henry.
Me now that it’s a reality:
“Three tickets for the Barbie movie, please?”
I can’t believe that we got a 69 minute long Jamie-centric ot3 fic with Hurt/Comfort and Jamie Needs A Hug tags as an actual canon episode of this show
the fact that they specifically framed both roy and keeley being on jamie’s wall. the fact that they specifically framed all three of them walking away together, keeley linking arms with roy before doing the same with jamie. the fact that they specifically framed jamie walking between roy and keeley when he could have gone around either one of them. my clown shoes will be squeaking all the way into next week.
the thing about ted lasso is it drove up in a bus, slammed right into me, and didn’t even stop to ask if i was okay because tonight’s episode took me by the face and said “our parents aren’t perfect and they never have been and it’s okay to love them the way we did when we were little and still be angry with them for the people they made us into and all we can try to do is be better and lead with the love before the anger” haha
TED LASSO (3x11) I’m guilty. Sorry, Jamie.
These two interacting kinda feels like a fever dream.

I’m sweating they are coming to me
and when they both win emmys for playing the most grief stricken little guys you’ve ever seen in your life
“my god, I hope it’s in me” KENDALL!! THE CYCLE KENDALL!!
pov you're roman roy, and you have a body that has reactions you can't control, and those reactions are pathetic and freakish and prove just how much you've gotten it wrong. you can't laugh, you can't talk, you can't even cry at your father's funeral without everyone seeing what a failure made flesh you are.
the camera focusing on Kendall at the end of Shiv's sentence when she says Logan was hard on women and "couldn't hold a whole woman in his head" right after we saw Kendall eulogize Logan as having "created" his three children to the erasure of his own mother (also noted by the camera focusing on Caroline's reaction). and right after we saw Kendall threaten Rava and intimidate his kids and make moves to take the kids from her. and right after we saw him attack Jess and call her stupid for wanting to quit and blaming her for telling him on the day of his dad's funeral when he's the one who made her tell him that day. and right after we saw him help try to steal an election for a fascist who undoubtedly as part of his platform wants to criminalize women's bodily autonomy (one of the reasons Jess wants to quit).......... goddamn. the cycle of abuse and the father-to-son inheritance of refusing to even conceptualize that women are real.
Roy: Now, for the last fucking time, "your" is the possessive. Like "your shirt" or "your socks", whereas "you're" is a shortened version of "you are".
Jamie: My fire
Ted: The one
Beard: Desire
Colin: Believe
Trent: When I say
Sam: I
Isaac: WANT
Bumbercatch: IT
Dani: THAT
Richard: WAY
Jamie: TELL ME WHY
Roy:
Roy: Why do I even try to talk to any of you.
“the love of his life” … “unicorn” … brett, you’re killing me 👀
The way so many of the characters this episode had story beats dealing with their inner child was something so powerful to see:
Roy receives an endearingly childish shirt from his niece, which he wears and is then told that he looks happier than ever in it — and then proceeds to tell Keeley how he feels in said shirt
Rebecca is about to have a panic attack, visualizes her inner child in her place, and then works herself through the anxiety, choosing to go to the meeting because that child deserves to stand up for herself
Nate looks through his childhood things, plays the violin, and learns that all along his dad was really proud of him and just wanted him to be happy — and then he does a kind gesture for Will
Keeley reminds Rebecca that all of the men in the meeting were once little boys, and like the mirror scene, this allows her to appeal to the boys inside all of those men as she stands up to them
At one point or another, each of the characters were just kids who had all these hopes and dreams, but life happens and we all deal with shit, but by confronting the wounds they faced in their childhood and healing their inner child — the characters are allowed to grow and move on
They are boyfriends ❤️🥺

it does not matter if you have a genuine desire to do good (kendall) or a deep capacity for love (roman) or have comparatively progressive politics and are a victim of the misogynistic environment your father created (shiv). because if your sense of self is so intrinsically tied to oppressive capitalist structures, what good are your best impulses, your love, your decency? waystar is them and they are waystar what does any kindness they possess actually matter if they are only capable of acting upon it within the framework of the fascistic, patriarchal corporation that they have no desire to escape?
when greg suggested giving something to tom and tom said this wasn't gonna be a thing, my heart stopped and i truly thought we were about to witness the most sickening bj on earth
they're literally cartoon characters. to me.
I felt incredibly uncomfortable while watching this scene. It felt like every time I got mocked by men. I got so incredibly frustrated.
the scene towards the end where shiv is essentially trapped in a room with all the men in her life turning on her? panic attack inducing.
whoever directed this episode did an amazing job of imbuing that scene with misogynistic violence even though there was no actual physical violence.
Yeah your right José Pedro Balmaceda Pascal would never treat me like this
