Can I please disappear somewhere ?
Group theory is getting to me.Its like I know the theory but I need to apply and apply and apply and apply it till it clicks.I don't mind it but damn it's too much.I have given it a dead line of May 30 and I don't think I can complete it by then so maybe I have to extend my deadline which I don't like but yeah thats life and my brain will be happy with decision also I guess. So sorry for the rant and I hope today treated you so so well.
Apart from going insane with Group Theory I did some other stuff as well
Revised Stats
Revised chem and completed session 8-10 PowerPoint slides
Duolingo
But on a positive note my day did have some ups.I spoke with my boyfriend for like an hour and that literally was the best part of the day.2 of my friends had also video called me so I had a nice time there too.I did some cooking today for my mum and dad and they seemed to like it🤭
At the end of the day I am thankful that my blessings are greater than my problems💞
I’m so tired today,Btw my august spread.
Happy August you guys ^_^
[11.32 am]I have ODE lab viva soon and I am terrified but hopefully, it will be over soon. I have given myself the task of completing 20 problems of vector calculus.
***
[3.20 pm] I did start but there has been a dip in my motivation. So I guess I will just take a nice bath, cook some snacks for myself and my parents and then sit and study again.
***
[9.45 pm] I am done for the day.Today I did some problems on vector calculus.I don't know why but I felt tired in the evening and just could not sit and solve stuff so I did not force myself. There is some kind of peace in calculating the angle between two very complex surfaces don't you think? Only if I had more energy to go through it.But now I remember also loving the concept of directional derivative. It is not done yet so gotta continue tomorrow.
222 days left to go..
[3.48 pm]The piecewise functions that I didn't like can be solved easily using greens theorem (Happy dance ).The only condition is that the terms gotta be continuous and bounded.I did complete my targeted 20 problems a day but not at all satisfied with the topic. So I am going to do the same topic tomorrow again but I will find some different problems. It suuuuuuuccccckkkksss when you do problems and still need more problems to perfect the concept but I am going to be patient because everything will be just fine after a year.
***
[10.43 pm] I usually wind up with my studies by now but I haven't yet finished some of it. So I am going to sit for 30 more minutes and finish it all off and not push it to tomorrow. I was helping my friend with experimental values for a physics experiment. You know those scientific notations I always used to find them boring when I first learnt about them but now after actually using them so many times I have come to appreciate them very much. Those notations feel like these delicate things to me now. You gotta handle those notations with care and when you do it will give you get such an accurate answer.its just a very nice feeling to see it come together.
***
[11.45] I completed a chapter of real analysis 1 and a very small chapter in group theory.I wanted to do a bit of linear algebra but I changed my mind and so I am gonna do it tomorrow.

220 days left to go...
Will I make it ?

Heya!!
It's a beautiful day here and I have decided to do the following stuff
Complete revising Differential Equations ( I have an exam on it next week)
Finish the last assignment of Group theory
Revise Group theory Problems
I hope you have a wonderful day ^^<3
Today I'm taking a break from life.
Place:Annecy
🐼3rd July and 4th July of Summer Studying Challenge 2021🐼
The work is not a lot but I do need to be disciplined to get it all done.
I have to complete my mathematics assignments. These include Vector Calculus, Integral Calculus, Real Analysis, Linear algebra and Group theory. It might look like it's a lot but it is not.I have been struggling with Group theory assignment 3.It has been such a nightmare lol.I did speak to my maths professor about this and he said he will help me out.So a bit relived for that.

I had an exam yesterday, one more to go. it was the written part, so 12+ hours of solving problems, exhausting just like before. I completed all of them, but of course I am not sure if my solutions are correct, I will find out on monday. I'm proud of the progress I've made
right now I'm studying for the second part, so the theory-oriented one, I can barely focus because I've already learned those things and now I have to relearn them again
I'm trying to prove all the theorems on my own. partly to see how much I remember, partly to see how much I'm willing to improvize. as they say, if you're using too much memory then you're doing something wrong so I'm hoping to be able to come up with the proofs without memorizing anything new
my technique for studying the theory for the exam is to first test myself on how much I remember by trying to write everything down and note where I'm unsure or don't remember at all. then I read the textbooks starting from the worst topics up to the better ones. when I encounter a long complicated proof I am trying to break it down into steps and give each step a "title" or a short description
for instance, the Baer criterion featured in the photo has the following steps:
only do "extenstions on ideals to R→M ⇒ M injective"
define the poset of extenstions of A → M, A ⊆ B and a contrario suppose there is a maximal element ≠B
use the assumption to define an ideal and a submodule that contradicts the maximality of the extension
it is much easier to fill out the details than to remember the whole thing. this is probably the biggest skill I acquired this semester, next to downloading lecture notes pdfs of random professors I find online lmao
a friend suggested that I could make a post about tips for reading math textbooks and papers. as for papers, I don't have enough experience to give any tips, but I can share how I approach reading the books
a big news in my life is that I got a job. I will be a programmer and I start in march. at first I am going to use mostly python, but in the long run they will have me learn java. I'm excited and terrified at the same time, this semester is gonna kill me
digital planning is fun ♡

👋 Hello
It's around 10 pm and I'm not yet sure If I want to sleep in early or just chill around with my phone a little longer .Today I completed the following tasks
Revised Group Theory
Revised stats for 15 minutes
Revised chemistry for minutes
Studied Bayers Strain Theory in chemistry
Complete 10 problems from group theory
Little bit of Duolingo (I'm learning French)
I also submitted my chemistry assignment today
I'm quite happy with how today turned out.In the afternoon I was thinking that I can't get it all done but some I managed so a little proud of myself today.
Tomorrow I'll be starting the Schaum's series for Abstract algebra.I'll not be doing it entirely now.I will just be focusing on the group theory part that is the first 10 chapters.I'm planning on doing 1 chapter a day for the next 10 days.If anyone wants to join me in solving the Schaum's series please let me know, we can do it together and keep each other accountable and help if doubts arise. It'll be just for 10 days so a very short period of time.
That is all that is there in my study part of my life right now.
I hope today treated you well as well😊If not, there is always a tomorrow🐣
Good Night 🌟
