I'm straight, but I'm a Christian, so it kinda bothers me that people choose to be homophobic. I knew what I was getting into when I installed Tumblr

SERIOUS TALK TIME!!!

And, yes, this is out of character. Because I feel the need to speak on this.

It has come to my attention that a certain roleplay blog is lowkey homophobic, with reasons rooted in religion.

I won’t be tagging them because they’re not what this post is going to be about (and also I don’t need anyone flooding their inbox because of me, so iykyk…).

This is about the fact that using religion to justify your intolerance of certain groups is complete and utter bullshit. And I say this as a bisexual Christian with two Christian moms (yes, they are married to each other).

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that you cannot marry the same gender, nor does it give you the right to deem it “wrong”.

If anything, the Bible teaches to “love thy neighbor” and that you do not have the right to be judgmental of others. But, of course, many Christians tend to ignore these teachings…

Alright, I’m ending that there because I don’t want this post to be too long, but, yeah. Don’t be homophobic.
