@pigzfairy Boy howdy this got out of hand but I loved doing it .;D
Whether anyone chooses to view this as the Deathglare ship or just some good ol’ bonding between 2 friends is entirely up to them! Happy Valentine’s Day everyone :’>
Here’s a bunch of references for woy characters I found looking for woy bed sheets (I didn’t find any)
Alright! First off this is an au that will have many many many MANY MANY characters in it! So I'll gladly let anyone join if they're interested in the au!
Starting off with the kingdoms in this au. All kingdoms will be galaxies and the planets in them will be the land that the rulers rule over!
The first kingdom being Camelot that is run by a ruthless king named Donnie. After someone he cared deeply about was taken away from him by magic, he forbids magic to be in his kingdom and to whoever has magic and or practices magic, they're sent to their deaths.
Thankfully, Donnie has a dear friend who he took in after helping her father win a war. The father sadly dying in battle. The king will do anything she says and will believe her until his untimely death.
Dominator for the first half was a nice and caring woman despite being born as a witch (without the knowledge of the king).
She was always caring for her maid and kind to people in the kingdom. However, she began having terrible nightmares of her dying over and over again with a strange face looking down at her before striking her down.
As this goes on, Dominator starts to slowly become evil after practicing her magic, keeping it hidden from the king.
In the second half, she begins to grow a hatered for the King making her want to kill him along with his younger brother Prince Darren so she may take the throne and rule over the kingdom, making magic free.
In the third part, she fully becomes corrupted with her power and does everything she can to kill prince Darren.
The heir to the throne of Camelot is Prince Darren, the brother of Donnie. He's a snobby, self centered posh boi. Unlike his brother, he's a brave man and won't turn down from saving someone. Also he cares a lot for his horse Gerald! Despite being a lil asshole, he does have his kind moments and will show it to certain people or joke around with the knights (Knights of the round table), seeing them as brothers.
One day, a young woman comes to Camelot seeking out a place to stay with her dear friend and mother figure Nicola. Nicola works for the King and has known him for a few years. She was a sorcerer herself and practiced black magic, but has sinced stopped due to the rule from the king. She works as a medic and helps the people with herbs to heal the wounded knights or civilians.
The young woman named Toons arrives at Nicolas lil shack where she lives inside the castles walls.
While Toons began making herself comftable, she accidentally knocked over a bucket of water before turning around and using magic to stop it mid air making her eyes glow a light orange. This of course isn't allowed to be seen by the public, which causes Toons to try and keep it a secret unless she wants her head rolling on the floor.
While on errand for Nicola, Toons stumbles across a man running for his life and passed her. She looked to where he ran from and was face to face with Prince Darren. After some insults were thrown at each other, they began to fight, causing Toons to barely escape him using her magic that the oblivious prince failed to notice.
Further into this story, Toons attends a dinner party with Nicola who was invited by the king to eat at said party.
Unfortunatly, bandits attack the party, going after both Prince Darren and the King. Thankfully the King could fend for himself, killing the bandit that was after him but wasn't able to reach his brother in time. Thankfully, Toons was and grabbed a sword, plunging it into the bandits back and killing him.
From that day forth, the king declared Toons as a servant for Prince Darren for saving him.
The second kingdom is ruled by a horrible leader, who is allies with king Donnie. He attends the parties that Donnie hosts and will bring his servant Peepers who will soon to be his husband, along with his son Prince Wandy.
In public, Hater is seen as a serious and dangerous man, yet he will have his moments of being a dork and stupidity. He will show his gentle side yet will also be an asshole.
However, around Donnie he doesn't show that he has powers and plans to kill the king himself to overthrow Donnie's kingdom. Him being behind the bandits at the party. The bandits were slaves of his who were forced to obey or he'd have them exectuted.
The kingdom Hater rules over is a strict one. The people who live on the planets are filled with fear and will do anything the king asks/orders them to do.
Further into the story, He will begin to have alliance with Dominator, working with her until her plan fails and leaving her on her own. Banishing her from his kingdom.
Comander Peepers is also more serious, keeping the king in check and making sure the people on each planet are following all the rules the king has ordered, sending knights to keep people in check. If the people fight against the rules, they are killed or taken away to be tortured until they obey the law.
Peepers also keeps the prince in check, making sure the kid attends meetings, parties, dinner and plans for the kingdom. He enjoys his job, no matter the amount of times he's yelled at, he'll follow his kings orders and perform them as perfect as he can. If he fails at an order, he would begin to doubt himself as a good fit for the kingdom. Peepers may seem as a stone cold watchdog, but he does have emotions too. He cares deeply for his king but won't show it in front of Hater.
Whenever the young prince is caught stealing bread or entering the Tavern(bar), Peepers would feel embarrassed to go collect him, having a whining child to go keep in check. He would also have to help teach the kid magic, sword fighting and continue to tell him each day about his contribution to the kingdom along with the ancestors who ran it before Hater.
This small poof of orange is the future heir to the throne when Hater retires (due to him being a skeleton, he wouldn't die and just be watching over his son and keep him in check as a king).
He's incredibly curious ever since he was a child and has always seen Hater as his father, not knowing about where he actually came from. He was only a baby when Hater found him.
As a child, he likes to run around and cause mayhem inside the castle walls, not caring for many of the people who work there, especially the watchdogs. He would mostly run to get away from Peepers, so he could roam around the city.
Wandy sadly isn't allowed to go outside without someone with him, so he would drag either a poor watchdog or order a poor man who's working there to escort him around. He usually likes to either ditch said person and watch them from afar freaking out or ditch them to go to the Tavern, which is basically like a bar/pub.
Of course being a child, he isn't allowed to drink but it won't stop him from trying any chance he gets until he's dragged back to the castle by Peepers.
He practices and learns a lot from both Peepers and Hater but his least favourite activity would be history. He doesn't much care for the past or future, only wanting to be in the present and have fun while he can before becoming king.
To keep it short, the watchdogs are loyal and will fight to the death for their king. Protecting Hater at all cost. Some watchdogs will be more frightened than most but will work more out of fear than loyalty.
The knights of the round table are knights of Camelot. They are a symbol of bravery, locality and truth to the kingdom. They will protect Prince Darren in the future. Some of these knights will consist of commoners after the king has died.
Wander is a kind and caring orange looking furry spoon that travels to different kingdoms, mostly avoiding Camelot due to magic being forbidden. He travells with a friend named Sylvia who he met a long time ago during a war that he thankfully saved her from.
He's not exactly a sorcerer but keeps his hat a secret so it doesn't get taken away from him or him being seen as someone who should die. His hat is still magic but he isn't. The hat still gives Wander what he needs and not what he wants, he's incredibly respectful to the hat and cares for it.
The only person he's comftable with letting know it's magic is Sylvia and a few folks he's met and befriended along his travels.
Speaking of Sylvia, before she met Wander, she had worked for Hater before he had Wandy and Peepers. She worked for him for about a year until she was sent to a war that would have killed her.
Thankfully, Wander was there to help her get out of that situation after being swung by a powerful blade to the side. Wander thankfully took care of her and over time she began warming up to the lil weirdo. She now travells the kingdoms and lands with her friend.
That is until she meets Prince Darren and Knight Toons who, after a mishap, she's offered a job as a knight to serve Camelot.
((This is just a WIP so far. But please if you want to join this au with a oc of yours, feel free to! I'd love to keep this au open for everyone, not just the original cast of woy!))
((Thank you to @anothershittydoodler for letting me use their characters “Donnie and Darren”))

This is a tough question because there are a lot of great potential crossover ideas. However, I’d like to mention a few that I’ve coincidentally been thinking about recently anyway.
First of all, I’d like to see a crossover between “Wander Over Yonder” and “Zig & Sharko” due to the many parallels I’ve been able to draw between the two.
In case you don’t know, “Zig & Sharko” is a a French animated slapstick comedy television series created and directed by Olivier Jean-Marie and produced by Xilam Animation (known for creating other successful series such as “Space Goofs” and “Oggy and the Cockroaches”). It shares the first two genres with WOY and has many similar character archetypes.
Both cartoons have a "bad guy” who wants to kill a “good guy”.
Both bad guys have small sidekicks that are underappreciated by them and are also way smarter, making most of the plans and generally doing all the work.
Both good guys wear a star as their head accessory (in Marina’s case, it’s the starfish hairpin, and in Wander’s, it’s the star is attached to his hat) and are oftentimes (at least seemingly) oblivious to the bad guys’ attempts to destroy them.
Both of them also find the bad guy’s right hand man adorable.
And finally, the good guy also has a strong companion who protects them and who they are very close to.
I haven’t watched all the episodes of “Zig & Sharko”, but if I did, there would most likely be even more parallels I could draw. I would also like to see this crossover because the characters from Z&S don’t talk, so watching the characters from WOY try to communicate with them non-verbally (or watching the characters from Z&S talk for once, allowing the audience to find out what their canon voices would sound like) would be very interesting to me.

Second of all, I’d like to include an honorary mention.
While it’s not a cartoon, I’d really like to see a crossover between the characters from “Wander Over Yonder” and the “Patapon” franchise.
If you don’t know, Patapon is a series of video games published originally for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) handheld game console combining gameplay features of a rhythm game and a god game. The title is created from two Japanese onomatopoeia (the process of creating a word that phonetically imitates, resembles, or suggests the sound that it describes), pata (marching) and pon (drumming).
The game is presented in a cartoonish, silhouetted two-dimensional environment, and features the player acting as a deity who commands an army of caricatured miniature tribal creatures by beating traditional talking drums. The game was developed by Pyramid and produced by Japan Studios.
It has two sequels, with Patapon 3 being the conclusion to the series (just like season 3 of WOY was supposed to be - third time’s the charm!). Additionally, the first 2 games were remastered in 2017 and 2020 for the PlayStation 4 (PS 4). Despite this, the series is still fairly underrated, and I urge you to check it out!
The “Patapon” franchise features characters that are very similar to watchdogs in that they are an army of talking eyeballs, most of whom are male.
Additionally, they are led by a (generally) smart leader - Meden in “Patapon” and Peepers in “Wander Over Yonder” - who can be differentiated from the rest of their species by their height (Meden is taller thanks to her legs, whereas Peepers is shorter) and their head accessory (Meden has an elaborate headdress of five coloured feathers instead of a usual cap or helm, and Peepers has a differently shaped helmet with a bigger lightning bolt than normal).
All 3 games even have characters shaped as stars (which is a reocurring symbol in Wander Over Yonder)! They’re called Hoshipon (“Hoshi” (星) means “star” in Japanese).
That’s just some of the things I could think of off the top of my head! I might go into more details about the similarities between the aforementioned franchises specifically later, as well as draw fanart and/or write fanfiction based on my observations, too.
This is it for now, though! I hope you enjoyed. Please consider participating in the “Trending 27th” event if you haven’t already!
@disneyxd
In the episode “The Waste of Time” there is a quick shot of a character called Monkeyboy when Wander & Sylvia are going back in time. The shot is implied to be from an event that happened before the start of the series. Frank Angones confirmed his name and revealed that he was intended to play a “big part” in season 3.
The character’s relevancy is further established by the cliffhanger ending of season 2. An American flag can be seen on both the escape pod from the ending and the monkey’s astronaut suit. Those are some strong parallels that I’m sure most people in the fandom have picked up on by now. It’s hard to ignore because we have NEVER seen evidence that Earth exists in the show aside from these two instances! That alone makes me excited!
But wait, there’s more! The final shot shows green electricity coming out of the crashed escape pod, along with monkey noises that transition into Hater’s evil laugh. This leads me to believe that Hater’s origin story is somehow tied to Monkeyboy. And revealing something big like that about a main character would be totally new territory for the show! One popular theory is that he IS Monkeyboy, or was. I can see that being true since Craig McCracken has a track record with villainous monkey characters.
This may be purposefully misleading, however, because how could Monkeyboy play a big part in season 3 if he was only found within Hater’s backstory? Another theory I have is that Hater and Monkeyboy knew each other at one point, exploring space together, until Hater betrayed him. That way Monkeyboy could show up to take his revenge against Hater in season 3. He looks fairly pissed off in that one image we see of him.
Maybe in the past they were both monkeys or maybe Hater was a human astronaut with a monkey companion. There are many possible ways it could go, but even putting aside all the fan speculation, I love that this new character is based on the actual history of space travel. From 1948 to 1993, monkeys and chimps were routinely launched into space by the USA. It was incredibly dangerous for the animals involved since they were the first to test the equipment. Looking back at the screenshots, I wonder if the spacecraft that Monkeyboy (and maybe Hater) was in simply malfunctioned or if there was another element at play.
here’s a peepers too for you woy fans, i see you
evil little alien men
None of them can win this fight
Yes, Zim’s weapon of choice is GIR
It’s crappy sorry but Benrey gave me such watchdog vibes
Ok. Let’s go over it once again, alright?
Peepers was standing there and started muttering after Sylvia stopped in her tracks and spoke up. Maybe coincidence, fine.
Then he started explaining plan to her despite ‘assuming’ she wasn’t joining him.
(Including ‘cool’ poses, mini Dominator stomping and whatnot, Peepers you’re such a show-off)
And his plan didn’t include what would happen to the bots that he clearly had to expect, since he knows what to expect on Dom’s ship plus there was this:
Ah yes, Peepers, you’re so unprepared, but wait!
He just randomly had golden gauntlets that would fit Sylvia and only Sylvia. Yup.
Tl;dr Peepers is so crazy prepared he had a plan to get Syl help him all along, perhaps it was even his plan A. No, you’re not going to convince me otherwise.
out of nowhere human woy au…. they’re in a cool sci-fi future-earth type of environment but theres less planet conquering and more motorcycle racing and battle of the bands type drama . wander and sylvia live in a trailer and deliver packages for a living

finaLLY DONE I CAN’T BELIVE THIS.
So! I was kinda bored lately, so I decided to make my own palette challenge. I wanted to have it WoY temed, so I used the wonderful backgrounds from the intro as inspiration for the various palettes.
These are the rules (they’re in the last pic but I’ll write them here too just in case):
- Pick a name + a number
- Pick one (or more) character from the fandoms listed in the tags
- SEND IN THE REQUESTS
Everyone can reblog this, but please don’t repost! Have fun and send a lot of requests!
I wanted to see if I could make these gal’s designs reflect their personalities better. It’s super fun!
