The Valyrian Wedding

Following the tradition of old Valyria Rhaenyra and Daemon’s wedding was very traditional. We can see it from their clothes to all the rituals that happened in the ceremony, was a pure and sacred Targaryen wedding. And the symbols they painted on each others foreheads are actually glyphs of High Valyrian that means Fire and Blood. And this is so beautiful.

Each one of them is representing one. And together they are one.

And we can see this two symbols throughout the whole wedding.

They are surrounded by fire and bonding/painting/drinking their blood. Also the red on their clothes representing blood i imagine it’s so very beautiful and detailed.

The creator of the Valyrian language - David Peterson - presented the symbols of High Valyrian that was used on their wedding ceremony. And I love it so much. It’s so symbolic. The way they match this glyphs and it’s all related. Everything was beyond perfect and magical.

A very Fire and Blood wedding. And yes they were always meant to burn together. True soulmates. Dragons in love. This will forever be my favorite wedding ceremony.

I feel physically sick from this scene. Aegon had just lost his child - his son and heir, the ray of light in his life. And all these people around him, some of whom are his family, don't sympathize with him and don't grieve for Jaehaerys, instead they coolly propose to make the boy's funeral an act of propaganda. And that expression on his face when he looks at everyone, as if asking for help and support, like: "Are you crazy? Do you understand what you're saying?" And he doesn't find any of it. I just see that he's on the verge of a panic attack.
