i watched prequels first so luke forgiving vader was so intense to me. like, anakin knew the pain when he cut off luke's hand. i guess since i watched prequels first, that scene had a different meaning to me. first thing i thought was "damn anakin you knew what it feels like" and he did this to his own son. i wish we could see more of vader's side of the story, i always wondered what he felt seeing luke for the first time as a son etc even comics made me more curious

Since I saw the OT first, I’m always intrigued by folks who saw the prequels first, because of moments like this.
