But then you recalled the eyes and the growling teeth- the fangs. Sir Kim growled like a wolf. And Lord Kim had fangs.

Fangs that sunk into your neck and drank.

“What the fuck.” You whispered.

“He has severe Porphyria Cutanea Tarda- PCT.”

You stared blankly at Dr. Bergenov from across the dining room table, unsure of what to make of the news due to the fact that you had absolutely no idea what it was.

Papers sat in front of you- signed, privacy act statements- that protected Lord Kim Seokjin from his secrets leaking out into the world. Dr. Bergenov had you sign them as soon as you sat at the table so that he could discuss the details of your employment. As soon as the condition left the doctor’s lips and he realized you had absolutely no fucking clue what it was, his face took on the increasingly familiar look of frustration and exasperation.

“We look like idiots.”

“Yeah, well,” Jin shrugs, handing you yet another t-shirt to try on. “That can’t be helped.”

You gasp, snatching the shirt away from him and heading toward the fitting room. “Rude! I meant with all of these ridiculous clothes!”

Jin’s laughter follows you as you close the door and throw on what feels like the thirtieth gaudy t-shirt from the zoo’s souvenir shop. This one is vivid blue, which you suppose is an upgrade from the caution-cone orange Jin had you trying on a few minutes ago.

“Ok,” you call out, “ready?”

“Ready!”

Peeking out of the little room, you notice Jin sitting on the little sofa in the waiting area. He grins up at you, already wearing a matching shirt.

“Do you like it?” He asks, lips pouting out a bit as he waits for your answer.

“Okay, whatever. Don’t worry, all of them are very nice and we’ll get along easily! There’s nothing to be afraid of,” she smiles and shows off her pearly whites, “You’ll love them.”

Rolling your eyes playfully, you scoff at her, “They better not be shapeshifters like you.”

Hyerin smirks, “No comment.”
