Is it not clear? A corpse would do naught but rot. Neither solace nor sorrow would possess them: these fleeting facades are but a fragile tool with which the living may ignore their inevitable end. By the time a corpse is born, it no longer needs such superficial pretences; indeed, it needs naught at all. Death brings many things, yet emotion can never be one: not, at least, to those whom He has already embraced.

Roses are red, that much is true, but violets are purple, not fucking blue.
