I Heard About This Earlier But This Is Phenomenally Good News Because A Lot Of These Manuscripts Hold

I heard about this earlier but this is phenomenally good news because a lot of these manuscripts hold palestinian intellectual history dating back centuries and my friends who work in the Islamic book history field believed these all to be gone

The situation is catastrophic now in Gaza after the heavy rain and winds this week. Did you know that families in Gaza are sheltered only by some pieces of nylon and that the cold is very severe? My family is suffering from severe cold.

There is no shelter to protect them from the bitter cold. Their help will save my family’s lives from starvation and may help them flee Gaza soon after the crossings are opened soon.

I know that most of you are desperate and bored of constantly asking us for help. But how many times do you see the world and governments that did not look at us with mercy?

Only people with compassionate hearts like you help and sympathize with the afflicted.

Your continued support saves the lives of all my families. Support link here

Save the life of the Balousha family here

Thank you all for your help in reblogging and thank you for your donations that give us hope I am grateful to all of you 💝

I have terrible news. For no apparent reason, gofundme has disabled Nader's contact from being able to recieve and transfer the money from his gfm to Nader and this has been the case since December 17th, 2024. This means that despite being 95% raised of his goal, he can't actually access the funds bes been fundraising and he has to start all over again because gofundme also won't respond to his contact asking for help and trying to resolve the issue.

Below is his new fundraiser. He asks that you donate here, and that they need the funds because the corridor to exit Gaza will be opening. His vetting information is on the pinned post of my blog.

Donate to Help Nader Al-Anqar and his family overcome this war in Gaza, organized by Nader Alanqar

I'm sorry but it's way too sketchy to have to "sign up" for a protest. There's no reason you should have to give anyone your full name, email, phone number, and/or address in order to march in the streets. People are getting arrested left and right because cops have access to information that connects people to the protests they were at. If an organization is having people "sign up to join the fight," all the cops need to do is access that list.

Just go. Don't leave a fucking paper trail.

(Quds) At Microsoft’s 50th anniversary celebration, Ibtehal AbuSaad — a Palestinian employee — interrupted the event in a powerful protest against the company’s complicity in the Israeli genocide unfolding in Gaza.

Facing Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman, AbuSaad didn’t hold back: “Shame on you,” she said firmly. “You are a war profiteer. Stop using AI for genocide.”

Her voice cut through the celebration as she condemned Microsoft’s role in enabling Israeli occupation forces through artificial intelligence technology.

“You have blood on your hands. All of Microsoft has blood on its hands. How dare you all celebrate while Microsoft is helping kill Palestinian children?”

Her act of courage joins a growing wave of tech workers and global voices calling out Western complicity in Israel’s ongoing atrocities in Gaza, where tens of thousands of Palestinians — the majority of them women and children — have been slaughtered under a brutal siege.

Honestly I don’t think I’ll ever get my mom and stepdad’s logic of “when we were 15 we were paying the rent for our family’s house so why are you at 19 not working a corporate job”? And then at the same time growing up they’d talk ab how hard they worked so that my siblings and I would never know poverty. And are suprised??? We don’t have poverty level survival skills?? Suprise suprise the kids you raised in suburbia who are only used to paying car insurance and gas are not ready to budget for living alone 6 months after graduating high school.

Like seriously it took me actually interacting with other people my age and who are older than me to realize that being 19 and still living with your parents isn’t a bad/shameful thing. And that’s honestly sad. And this isn’t to say they didn’t struggle, they absolutely did, but why do I have to struggle too?? Why do they think the only way you’re supposed to learn finances is being on the brink of homelessness????
