Have you ever had a love-hate relationship with pieces of media because the creators are incredibly problematic and the characters aren’t called out for some of their toxic behaviors but like the premise is good and there are some quality moments and if you strip away the bad writing you’d have something really neat so you decide-

Did I just find another tecna stan on this app? *shudders in validation sauce* Your tecna x bloom meta was A+ and I wish I’d read it before I posted about my fav moments (shoutout to our favorite enabler wavebiders for that ask <3). Anyways I haven’t read the comics and their dynamic happens to be even cuter?? what are some other comic moments that showed off their relationship well?

Yup, with icon recently converted I'm ready to serve :'D Thank you, I thought the exact same when I found your blog and meta posts!

I don't have many screencaps of Bloom and Tecna specifically and I'm too lazy to go sifting through the comics again but here's some of my fave stuff under the cut!

Bloom is even more of a DisasterTM in the comics and we see more of her doubting her place at Alfea, so her departure after the Diaspro Fiasco makes even more sense. Also Tecna being a little bit motherly towards her inventions <3

Tecna worrying about offending Bloom :')

At one point the girls joke around about Bloom getting some major art block (the comics didn't forget that was a hobby of hers!) and it hits a nerve because her insecurity was what was bothering her when trying to draw :(

It was actually because of the sketchbook incident that Tecna wanted to apologise to Bloom, not the phone thing when they first met my bad. The others were joking around too so I think it's telling Tecna was the most regretful, like she often worries about not being able to connect to others or coming across as rude.
