love parallels in media. they just make me feral. love blatantly intentional ones. love parallels that i don’t catch until i’m watching/reading it for the 800th time. love when someone else points out an absolutely insane, heart wrenching one. gotta be my favorite part of deeply loving and knowing a piece of media, especially a tv show

romanticize your life. i cannot stress this enough. use scented shower gel and shampoo, so you look forward to showers. go on walks and see how pretty the sky looks. notice the wildflowers on the roadside as you drive. light a candle when you get home to make your room smell good. notice & appreciate the little things in life. it won't cure your mental illness, but it'll make it easier to exist in this world.

also in trans news that should be talked about. laverne cox has stated that on saturday her and a friend were assulted in a park and it’s not really getting the same attention as elliot. we can still be proud of him without ingnoring what happened to laverne and her friend.

if you claim ally ship to the trans community then you can’t ignore the bad things that happen to especially trans woc. and if you’re a white trans person you can’t just talk about other white trans people. it just shows that you only care about trans people if they are white and that shouldn’t be the case.

if your gonna talk about elliot please also talk about laverne. she deserves better and we should all do better to raise up the voices of black trans women.

Okay, so literally just think of it as Tinder… but for jobs. After installing the app, it’ll show you job after job in your area, and you just swipe left or right to indicate whether or not you’re interested. You don’t even need a CV to start applying (you will have to send that in at a later time of course but it’s not a ‘hey we need it straight away’ kind of thing)

It also connects you directly to the employer, so no recruitment agencies or anything like that… The employers on this app need employees just as much as you need employment, so trust me when I say as far as searching for jobs on the internet goes this is your best bet!
