YES ABSOLUTELY, it's so annoying that tom hardy's bane is the most popular because i love luchador bane so goddamm much
I think the biggest mistake that most adaptations make with Bane is shying away from the fact that he is a FUCKING LUCHADOR as opposed to leaning into it super fucking hard cause a hyper intelligent impossibly buff luchador is quite possibly the greatest thing ever.
i need to watch the rest of the series first before i look at this (only seen the second one so far for some reason) but why is everyone calling him ugly ??? yall are mean, give him a chance
TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (2022)
Alright was no one going to tell me that in the middle of the Nevada desert is an old cemetery that contains the bodies of a bunch of miners who died in a fire and next door is a haunted clown motel
Why are we still setting horror movies in generic Victorian houses in the woods when this is a real place in the world
I'm literally fucked lol I need $400 by the end of the week. I applied for a credit card to try to cover this month and got approved for it but it wont be here by the 16th and we're already past due on rent by a day now. I know I had another post going around and I deeply appreciate the donations given on that one, I'm just at a loss for what to do. I can't doordash 40 hours a week which is what I'd need to do, if not more, to get anywhere near what I need on top of my full-time job. I hate to e-beg I seriously do more than anything but I'm finally in a good place where I have a stable job, I just need to get past this hurdle. My paycheck last month was only $400. my rent is $800. You can see my dilemma. Thank you so much for reading and please just share, especially if you've helped me before. Thank you.

The romanization of Hawai’i only tightens America’s grip on my people.
We are not the land of Lilo and Stitch. We are not a paradise.
We are a nation suffering.
There are only around 600,000 Native Hawaiians left. Only around 200,000 of them live in Hawai’i.
Hawai’i has the second largest homeless population in the nation, falling just behind New York. There are 19 million people in New York. Hawaii only has 1.4 million people. Yet their homeless rates are neck and neck. A majority of those experiencing homelessness in Hawai’i are Native Hawaiian.
Tourism destroys sacred land. Mountains are moved to make room for telescopes. People live in tiny concrete apartments that cost $2k a month because the rich move to the islands to carve their own paradise. My people spend every night praying we can afford to eat the next day
The Navy poisons the water over and over. They lie and say it’s safe. People fall ill. Then they dump the waste into the ocean and promise to do better. They lie.
End the romanization of Hawai’i. There is no paradise under American occupation.

concept: if Hulk/Banner are Frankenstein’s Creature in some respects, imagine that the Jekyll/Hyde dynamic is for Abomination/Emil Blonsky.
Specifically, the original idea that there IS no Mr Hyde. That it’s just Jekyll; Hyde is a form that lets him be anonymous, and lacks inhibitions, and he’s not a separate entity. It’s just Jekyll, exploiting the anonymity of his new form to do as he pleases without risking trouble over it.
So, apply this to Blonsky:
He always was a monster. He was always a bully, an authoritative scumbag who likes to hurt people, but he always did it with something to hide behind. He’s been a cop, he’s been a military neck-breaker. Always something that gives him some authority, a mask to hide his cruelty behind.
And then, he becomes the Abomination. A monster, inside and out, and he looks inhuman because all Hulks embody some aspect of the mind of the person, and in this case, it simply fulfills his desire to look as different from Blonsky as possible so he can indulge his most destructive and cruel urges without suffering recompense for it.
Abomination isn’t a monster because he looks so inhuman. He’s a monster because it is Blonsky, stripped of all restraint and gleefully indulging his most brutal desires.

MONSTER WOMEN. little rubber toys, they’ve been around for a while. spider woman is the best, obvs, but bat woman is pretty close behind
He looks so perfect, I cant wait to hear Tim Roths voice or a variation of it coming out of him.
