spent an awful lot of time playing animal crossing today that i almost missed my genshin dailies.

anyway, it'll be a while since i'll be able to indulge my time with games since i'm finally hired, and will keep a regular everyday schedule like the one i'm used to (๑･̑◡･̑๑)

i will miss taking my sweet time at home doing whatever i want, but i welcome this new season with openness - an open mind, an open heart, and being open to new learnings and experiences ★彡

sleep escapes me still but it's 100% my fault for having little self control and drinking what was supposed to be my coffee for tomorrow (ू˃̣̣̣̣̣̣︿˂̣̣̣̣̣̣ ू)

i try to be grateful for many things, but the most grateful i’ll always be is for my hands. as an artist, my hands are definitely something i can’t (and don’t want to) live without. my mind conjures, and my hand creates. it is with my hands that i’m able to keep dabbling and rekindling my love for art making.

(kind of a shameless plug about some of the things i’ve done, but who else should celebrate my works but myself, right? right! ♡ॢ₍⸍⸌̣ʷ̣̫⸍̣⸌₎)

another H that i am grateful for is my friend, whom i’ve kept in touch with regularly since i left one of my previous workplaces. not a lot of my friends have witnessed my most depressive state (and honestly, i wouldn’t be comfortable with most of my friends seeing me in that state since i know not all of them can fully grasp or even have the headspace to try to see things from my side just because of differences in our stages of life), but this friend has seen it, and still chose to remain a friend up until now that i’m beginning to heal from my previous season. i’ll always be grateful for her presence, support, and friendship, and i’m glad our paths ever crossed.

whenever our schedules aligned and we have time to meet up, we catch up over food, drinks, and art.

i was in the middle of grinding for stellar jades so i can (finally) get argenti in the limited character banner when i didn’t expect to actually do and finish his companion quest, and all i can say is as much as argenti is indeed befitting of being a knight of beauty, he is so goofy i want him in my roster of characters and in my 2D husbands club.

i love beautiful and goofy characters a little too much hihihi.

this is my favourite argenti dialogue in the entire companion mission, btw. he’s such a mood.

last saturday, i took some time off my games and work to assemble a small flower made up of entirely building blocks (they're not really lego pieces so i won't call it lego). the tiny flowers and the flower pot kept falling off every time i add a piece, but after the initial frustration of having to restack the tiny parts each time they fall, i found myself too absorbed completing everything, and even added a few pieces to add more details. now i want to buy another one, and buy an acrylic casing to keep all of the tiny building block models safe from dusts and our cats at home.

ofc there's going to be a photoshoot of the final output with pocket kaveh (´｡• ◡ •｡`) ♡

crammed this year's may day tour because i almost forgot about it until i was in the middle of finishing my tasks for the day at work earlier (⌯⊙⍛⊙)

i've been playing animal crossing new horizons since the year it was launched and though i don't religiously open it as much as i did (until genshin ate me completely), i still enjoy running around my island, talking to my villagers, and "working" on my happy home paradise island when i'm energized enough to design a rest house. plus i still want to finish decorating my island - something i promised myself i would three years ago hehehehehehe

today marks the first month i got accepted in my current workplace and i want to record this day so i can have something to look back to.

i actually have a fanfic that i’ve been writing (and editing) where kaveh decides to explore teyvat after a massive change in his life happened. i just love the idea of kaveh getting to travel across teyvat so he can also see the various architecture styles and art practices that people outside of sumeru, and maybe learn a thing or two about himself along the way.
