indulging in parasocial behaviour for a second. its nice and super cool to see posts angela gets around her birthday. and in particular the sheer volume of people across all kinds of projects who clearly both enjoyed working with angela and go out of their way to emphasize both that she's a delight to work with/know and puts her all into every project she does.

like actually putting everything else aside, its absolutely wild that SO many people on DIFFERENT projects all agree that she puts her whole heart into things. like. damn. not only is she committing 100% but she's doing it for so many things. thats just. impressive. wow. wow.

Another AO3 thing I’m curious about, how do yall decide if something is good enough to read? Usually I follow a rule of 1 kudos for every 10 hits. One because it’s easy math and two it’s yet to fail me. Thoughts? Do you just go for it and pray it’s good?

can you believe that we have fanfiction. that we have websites dedicated to fanfiction. that there is a place that you can go and read tens, hundreds, thousands and thousands of pieces of writing that strangers have made. people who are not "writers". people who come home at the end of the day and have feelings and say, i am going to put that into words. i am going to share those words. short, long, sweet, sad, horny, funny, wonderful words. we are all just human and we all love to make and remake and share that with others. can you believe that.
