Using a Ghibli Prompt list and for the first day it is a female character. I can relate a lot to Umi from "From Up on Poppy Hill". Also a good start to use some grey markers I had.

Gen:lock Idea

Just an idea that won't go away until I write it down. Not the best but here it goes.

This is an AU where somehow before Weller could bring is idea to Holcroft and the Polity he got captured by the Union. And everyone being younger as well. When finding his Gen:lock work, the Union found it interesting and made sure to weaponize it.

Since Gen:lock relied on the neurons of a young body the Union made sure to include children in the recruitment list. Which lead him to find everybody (including Leon) easier.

- Chase and team would be the range of 10 to let teen. Not even at their 20's.

Then came the experimenting, this leading to Chase's and Leon's physical problems. But eventually leading up to the children being able to fight (excluding Cammie, she is still too young even by Union standard)

When the Union was planning to finally attack New York, Weller knew he needed to get everybody out of there. The was no doubt that the Union would put even greater pressure to get Gen:lock field ready no matter what happened at the battle in New York. And Weller could no longer see his kids be suffer for progress of what was once his dream turned nightmare.

He was finally able to contact the Polity, and basically held himself hostage when they only wanted to retrieve him alone. But he would never leave his kids.

The day before the Battle of New York, Polity soldiers waited outside of some of the exits of the research facility. Waiting for their objectives to arrive.

Dr. Weller prepares his kids to be separated. The talks to them about the Polity and reassuring that they will meet again, somewhere where it was safe.

The kids are split like so:

- Valentina, Kazu, and Cammie

- Yaz and Chase

- Weller, Leon, and Sinclair

Valentina and Kazu make an excuse to leave the building, while Cammie is screaming and crying about a nightmare, to calm Cammie.

Yaz and Chase sneak out from the sleep guards.

Weller and and the rest just says he needs to check something and bam everyone is out.

It's only when they are running across the field does the Union finally realize their attempt to escape. They give chase only to find three hovercraft getting air and flying away.

That's all I have so far, but my brain wants to finish but I can't and I am not a writer by any means but this just wouldn't get out of my head. But I feel better now.

Whats you favorite fairy tale? (Essay)

My favorite fairy tale or the fairy tale that means the most to me is the Three Followers. The story of of one master and three followers who were the best of friends, until ambition, envy, loneliness, and duty took hold of the friendship they had and destroyed it. Destroying themselves in the process. This story is supposed to teach children that although these feeling do not have to be evil if you let them take a hold of you and emotions get the best of you, whatever you were trying to achieve will be beyond you reach. Something we should have thought of when the arguments began. Thought I will not go into details, this happened to my friends and I. These emotions turned our friendship that we once thought as hard as steel into tatters and shreds. We fought and blamed one another because of a desicion that was not in our control. In the end all that has left was anger, guilt, and memories of a happier time. A lot of time has passed since then, and for all that my friends did to me from verbally and physically, to the scars they gave me both literally and emotionally, I can say I have forgiven them for it. Some might think me a fool for it but if I were to stay with the anger and guilt they would have taken over me until nothing was left. I didn't want that. "The past doesn't define who you are, it just a starting point for who are going to be." I wasn't going to become a person who held grudges, never forgetting what had divided us but one who always remembers the good memories that united us. I hope that one day in the long future we will meet again, though we might not be the best of friends ever again. I hope when our eyes meet and I see not hatred or anger but nostalgia and forgiveness. I hope that day will come.

whatever scene made steven yeun cry while recording? bc that sure as heck didn’t happen in s5

keith back on team voltron and in red paladin armor but this time with galra markings on his face (this was in a promotional poster)

barlee (voltron storyboard reviser) saying the next season (s6) would be an emotional wreck for everyone, no matter which side you’re on.

jeremy shada saying how ‘if a character is suddenly gone from the show or is not seen as much they’re going to come back and have a huge arc’

(aka. be prepared for a huge keith and real shiro arc)

also joaquim said keith would return and that his arc is very interesting

lance actually using his altean broadsword (?)

lance continuing to be skeptical about lotor 

(jeremy said lance still doesn’t trust him, you can also tell this at the end of s5)

blake michael joining vld and whatever mysterious role he will play

josh, jeremy, bex, kimberly, and tyler (the paladins’ VAs), as well as AJ (lotor’s VA), steven (keith’s VA), and rhys (coran’s VA) all in the recording booth together

when all voice actors are in a recording booth together, it means they have a significant amount of scenes together, so it can be assumed that keith and lotor both have a decent role with the rest of team voltron in at least certain parts of the next season

jeremy saying the team would have a reunion with their families somehow, hinting that they would be traveling back to earth

jeremy promising that the keith / lance relationship that is currently set in place will evolve into more of a mutual respect with less bickering and will lean more towards friendly jokes instead

lance will stand up to shiro but it’ll be hard for him to do so since he views shiro as such a huge inspiration and role model in his life

aka mr. I-wear-a-hoodie-under-my-labcoat-and-a-collared-shirt-under-my-hoodie is not allowed to step out of the house until Manon or one of the two others gives him a new look (every morning)

id be lying my ass off if i said i did not enjoy poking fun at alan’s fashion sense but i do so with much affection.

it’s difficult to come up with something that could be considered universally ugly. but i think i came pretty close with that second outfit.
