I think it might be how do to how stress and emotionally destructive his job is The Matren locks his emotions away but not completely like as soon as he starts to feel strongly about something it is immediately pushed down and trapped, the best way I can explain how it'd feel would be like taking a med to help with your anxiety but all it does is blur your reaction to things and still let's you have an internalized panic attack (yes something like this happened to me hense me being specific:'3) when Vax is for the lack of better wording on break the walls the Matren put up fall and it kind of hits him all at once. Luckily those who've cared for Vax and have already died are there for him and help him recover, like his mom just hugs him and sings him a song she used to sing to him and Vex

it IS super funny that orv starts out like "hoo hee i'm just a normal self-inserty power fantasy protagonist! my name is literally 'reader!' just an office worker turned action hero you can project onto slash look up to 🥰" and then very quickly shows that 1. no the fuck he isn't and 2. the story is a detailed interrogation of the nature of self-insert escapist power fantasy. and then the endgame twist that hits you like an emotional freight train is that orv is, in fact, actually very much a self-insert story about how you 🫵 are deeply loved and your survival matters so much that this book was written just to help you find reasons to live. idiot.

Strong words to use on a Resume

If you have ever had to write a resume for work or for an application, then you know the hardest part is figuring out what type of words to use that sound professional and and intelligent.

Example: If an application asks you if you have any relevant experience for a job at a day care center and you have experience, like you have babysat children. You would look at the words in the columns to see what words you should use that will help your resume stand out. You might put down “Have supervised and attended to children on a regular basis.”
