the peril of squid game art/fics is that for every cute AU piece of your faves being safe and happy and in love, there is an opposite piece of them enduring Unspeakable Horrors & Trauma
redownloaded pinterest for the sole purpose of finding the source for a piece of art (turns out I nearly bought a stolen version, check your sources ppl!!) and ended up making an entire jibyeok board
lmk if anyone wants the link!! 💚
Write in bed. Just do it. It's cozy there.
Alternatively, write challenging scenes while standing up (i.e. with a standing desk or at a dresser).
You know that one tip about listening to Coconut Mall while doing schoolwork? Well, listen to Coconut Mall while writing on a deadline.
Run what you've written through text-to-speech (I usually just use Google Translate) so you don't have to read it aloud to check for mistakes.
Do personality quizzes in the POV of your characters, even silly Buzzfeed ones about which kind of pizza your personality represents.
For a story that takes place over a week or a month: make a timeline of what your MC does every day in the morning, afternoon, evening, and night. It helps put together those "missing pieces" in the narrative.
Make your characters in The Sims, as well as their houses.
Browse Subreddits related to themes in your story, or hobbies/interests of your characters.
working on my fluffy jibyeok WIP
who up un-dooming they yuri
who says this fandom is dying, I’ll fucking fight them
the fandom not being a hot trending topic on mainstream socials doesn’t mean things are dying out, it means they’re settled and consistent in between seasons
anyway, I’m not going anywhere
I don't know if it's just me, but I find it annoying when people say squid game fandom is dying just because the show isn't a newish trend on social media anymore. It's far from being dead fandom when there's a constant stream of new content from fans every day. My favourite tv show finished ten years ago, but it's still has thriving fandom behind it. The show itself is coming back in a couple of months, so there's no need to act like dead and gone. A part of me can't wait till the show is over, so all the trend chasers leave it alone, and so the fans can enjoy it without someone ( just watched the show for the games) trying police our fun. I just want to be able to enjoy mixing up canon ships without someone throwing tantrum because it isn't based in the show.
It's a bit of a rant post, but I just want to get off my chest and see what others think of this.
Liking character is fun until you think about them and you just have to stare at nothing for a few minutes because of how tragic
And mauybe you are almost crying but you are having fun
