Man, I've done fandom shit on so many sites but my god TikTok is the WORST
Mainly talking about anime community but God it's awful. No one knows how to tag anything.
The purity culture is insane, assuming that everyone ships the same thing because it's algorithm based and so you only ever see the most popular ships and head cannons. It's like an echo chamber. There's never any new ideas or interesting takes. It's diluted and sanitized.
This is no decorum and to find anything interesting you have to dig through these brainless edits. I think the lack of creativity can be traced back to how much of TikTok is just fitting everything into trends.
I literally was looking for Moriarty the Patriot content and found something else interesting. checked the tags and didn't see anything about alcroft. Then the whole thing was about alcroft. And when it was pointed out the creator said "well It's about Albert. Of course it's going to be about alcroft"
I think cosplay is the only thing it's got going for it
Also, I'll never forgive TikTok for bringing back Nightcore.
Some people just don't know the disappointment of a truly shit adaptation
Can you please reblog if your blog is a safe place for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, asexual, aromantic, pansexual, non binary, demisexual or any other kind of queer or questioning people? Because mine is.
Today's cocktail is the Silver 75! It's so fancy lookin'!
So good. The cherry adds a nice flavour! It tastes stong but still sweet.
To pass the time in lockdown, l have decided to learn how to make cocktails/mocktails. Today I made Tsukasa's Grenadine and tonic from Dr Stone. It turned out really well! I made the grenadine myself, super easy btw and way cheaper. It tastes pretty good! Very refreshing and nice to look at.
Being in all these situations at once and then joining a new fandom

Using the size of the bubbles in the water as a measure of temperature is great if you don't have a water thermometer or a kettle that displays the temperature. But if you do have a way to measure the temperature of the water here's a common brewing guide:
White tea and Green tea= 70°c to 75°c (158°f to 167°f)
Oolong= 80°c to 85°c (176°f to 185°f)
Black tea and Chinese Red tea= 95°c to 100°c (203°f to 212°f)
Herbal/Floral/Fruit tisane and Rooibos (African Red tea)= 95° to 100°c (203°f to 212°f)
Remember these are categories of tea. That's why there's some leeway in the brewing temperature. For example not all Sencha (a type of Japanese green tea) will taste the same at the same temperature, quality of the leaves, the size of the leaves even the region they're grown in can affect the taste.
So play around see what you like! Personally I brew my white tea at a lower temperature than my green tea
I find a lot of arguably mean things funny, but there's a special place in my heart for hardcore hipsters who insist they love tea despite having no idea how to brew it and just choking down that hot bitter disaster while insisting it's God's gift to man
