this has to be canon
the host club are the kinda guys who peek their heads out from around a door together
i think we all agree that even if tamaki never found out haruhi was a girl he wouldve fallen in love with her and got really confused but they would still be endgame
based purely on episode 1 of the anime
"None of us is hiding Sirius Black under our cloak. Go."
Remus sarcastic-as-fuck Lupin @ the dementor
tamaki suoh is such an unreal character, imagine going over to your friend's house and he's got huge professional taken framed pictures of your friend group up on the wall
and to top it off, imagine that there were just cat whiskers drawn on your picture? unreal
(Ooc post)
I spent too much time on this, I'm sorry.
Yeah yeah it's silly how obsessed with the kotatsu Tamaki is especially in the manga but it's at Kyoya's house. That means Tamaki goes over enough for it to matter to him.
Also they're just so weird about each other I love it. Like yeah Kyoya wanted him on his side but he still took him to literally every city he could think of. He bought a kotatsu for him. Tamaki wants to deepen they're friendship so bad with every way he can think. They're just freaks about each other all the time and I'm so here for it.
rosekiller but barty, instead of rejecting the path his father laid out for him, goes to law school and becomes a lawyer.
one day he has to defend a man who's accused of the most heinous crimes, and when he meets him, he comes face to face with pretty-face evan. And, despite having called barty to defend him to avoid jail, the first thing he says to him is "I did all of it".
I recently got reunited with my Japanese Ouran mangas and flipped to this:
And while my Japanese has gotten rusty, this made me laugh
Tamaki: …Sankyu (Thank you, katakana English)
Kyoya: You’re welcome.
The word for ‘you’re welcome’ in Japanese is what Kyoya used (Douitashimashite) however it is generally discouraged to use in response to ‘thank you’ as it can be perceived as rude. With that, I think Kyoya’s energy around his word choice was probably “you’re welcome you lovable idiot”
And in the English manga this little cultural context piece gets dropped, which is a bummer but maybe it’ll motivate me to get back into my Japanese practice?
just finished kakegurui season 1! kaede manyuda and kyoya ootori seem like same the same person in different universes to me.. especially with the way they scheme and think 1 billion steps ahead
what do you guys think?
