So I've thought of this thing.

So far, each of the dark sides was kind of the ugly half of each main side and everyone is kind of wondering what Logan's will be or just assuming that he has one who's going to be introduced. I think that since Virgil has been confirmed to of been at one point a dark side he was actually Logan's counterpart. He's the illogical fears side to Logan's logical solutions. Idk it's just thing I was thinking about.

~ romantic academia during quarantine ~

Quarantine must be a really tough time for all of us - not only we worry about our physical health and the pandemic, but we should care about our mental health as well. That being said, here are some activities which give me Romantic Academia vibes ♥

Read a lot of books! Whether it’s a classic that you adore, The Secret History or a modern fantasy book - it doesn’t matter as long as you enjoy reading it. You can even treat it as a portal to another world to take your mind off the current situation. Watching movies instead is great too!

Journal daily! It’s a great way to stay in tune with your emotions. If you don’t have the energy to write but you don’t want to miss a day, you could even doodle something. You could simply write about your day, or scheme on how to meet with your secret lover (but remember to stay at home, just let your fantasy run wild!)

Write love poems! It’s a great way to spend your time creatively. You could write one about your lover, or if you don’t have one - perhaps a love poem for your soulmate in your past life? If you’re struggling with your mental health - write a love poem to yourself. You deserve some love too, after all!

Spend some time on your hobby! There’s nothing better than killing time with something you love to do when you’re bored. That may be writing, drawing, or planting something in a garden - there are so many choices, so do what is unique to you.

In case of struggling with the situation - romanticize it. In a healthy way of course! Perhaps you could put yourself in a scenario when you are locked up in a castle, forbidden and unable to meet with your loved one. That would also be a great opportunity to write some letters.

Drink something nice! Make some tea for yourself. If you prefer coffee, you can go for it! Hot chocolate is amazing too. Whatever you like - remember to take care of yourself.

Practice some self care! That’s a really important one. Show some love to yourself in whatever ways you want to do so. Go on walks around your garden (It’s spring after all! The world is so beautiful and we should all experience the joy of it!), take a hot bath, or curl yourself up in something warm and read your favourite book. You may be focused on your studies, but remember to take some time for yourself too.

Check up on your loved ones! Even if we all must stay at home, remember to spend some time with your friends or family online if you can’t meet up. Write to them and show them some love too! We all can make use of it during these times.

Professor Hidgens theorized this exact scenario 30 years ago. And for the past 27 years he’s been stockpiling the bare essentials for human survival in the event of a world ending cataclysm. 

What I am getting at is that I want to see what happened in these 3 years that changed his mind from it being a theory to certain future.

I want to see Hidgens making his way through the jungles only to find ancient ruins right by what looks like an old meteor crash. Bodies, long dead, laying around as if they were arranged in some unique pattern. The wildlife around (birds, bugs, mammals) in a few miles radius somehow seem to always be in perfect pitch with one another. When he tape records his observations he notices a change in his voice, as if it had a playful flowy melody to it. Remarkable! He took an air sample and found an unfamiliar spore like culture in it. It wasn’t large and was very weak, but it was enough to slightly alter the ecosystem around those ruins, have a minor effect on Hidgens’ vocal abilities, and he did not realize it back then, but it altered his brain a bit as well.

Hidgens indeed always had a deep love and passion for musical theater, but unfortunately he thought he could never pursue his passion since his singing was always a little sharp. But after his trip to the jungle, whenever he tried to sing, he sounded like an angel. Hidgens knew it was no coincidence. After he published his paper about his findings, he was approached by agents of what today is PEIP. The paper was never to be seen again, the access to the ruins has been taken over by the agency and his doctorate and resources have been revoked. The only thing he could do now was prepare for the inevitable while writing his own musical (that he can now star in with his new and improved singing voice).
