something crawls out of landfill
something light and surprising
as I recall secret antics
I do to keep on watching

I am myself as one says I am,
Suggesting my home of a soul stay the way
I have been all morning sitting sitting sitting boring
-s’s.
I set my eyes forward, still
and pray
I sit alone, watch the streetlights decay
now my room is frozen black
Distant whistles of the train
I’m amused by hypothetical pain
I sit here and think of what I would say
I set my eyes on the wall
and pray

this ocean was diamond-cut sharp with danger
where waters will sting you mercilessly,
don't let me jump either

I swim close to electric currents and blue fire shorelines
And why do the girls get close to outer edge of their textiles
and take out tapestries in a rush to see them torn apart
from all that's good and plenty?
I stay close to eclectic women and new diamond landmines
but why?
It's for nothing.

ghost of mist and pieces and trees
falling delightfully like fading spring
ghost of loss, of thought, of everything

the body
seldom do i look at my reflection in the mirror and see what i want to see.
but your eyes are blinking. your lips are moving. your lungs inhale and exhale. your heart beats.
know that thirty trillion cells make up your body. know that one trillion antibodies are fighting to keep you alive. know that stardust flows in your blood and makes you beautiful. so, so beautiful.
i love you because you’re alive.
i hope you love yourself, too. for being alive.

I seem paranormal to you. it only hurts on days when I see your friends come passing by and I will talk like everything is alright but nothing good really comes out then it happens and their petty words turn to fable, all of the rumors that I heard come true a day or two later

I dried like fruit under the sun
my high hopes, they created themselves
an ugly subtle reflection of you
I tried to wait out see where it'd move
if it doesn't, then I'm stuck
in unfettered visions.
