New AU:

Hello y'all, new year coming, new AU to play around with!!!

This AU is based off the amazing, and heartbreaking game, called Forgotten Anne.

You may want to watch some gameplay of it, or read some!!! Unless you would like to play the game for yourself. You can get it for free on the app store, but you can also get it on switch, and some other platforms.

The game plot follows a girl named Anne, within a world of the forgotten. Most things here are items come to life, consisting off mirrors, bowling balls, flower vases, pieces of armour, mannequins, you name it.

Few are humans, yet, Anne is one of them. Including another character, called Master Bonku. I'll go into more detail later on.

Anne and Bonku are few who own things called, Arca. Now, if you don't have an Arca, and your a forgotling (the forgotten people of this universe), you will at some point crystallize. There is no exact time when one will, though.

If you have an Arca, you are able to not crystallize. Yet, not everyone can have an Arca... Due to there being one single stone that they can be made from.

And, it's currently with Bonku, in the Central Tower. Which is where he has his office, private office, etc.

Anne lives in her own little place, and oftenly uses communication mirrors to communicate with him. He's basically like a father figure to Anne ^^.

Anyways, all forgotling souls are made up of a thing called Anima. If an Arca is used to absorb the Anima from a forgotling, they basically become lifeless. Anne's is able to restore Anima back into forgotlings, how this became to be? I don't wanna spoil anything ^^. Anne also, in the game, and in this AU, has a pair of Anima powered wings, allowing her to glide, and jump up to higher places.

Back to the crystallizing, there has been no formula made up to stop it, but people are trying to figure out some way...

I'll be going over the main premise of the story, when the AU is set in, the main characters that will appear, and such, in another post. If you have any questions, please, let me know.

Once again, check out the game for more context, it'll help me a lot of y'all already know what it's about lol.

Calypso has an actual crush on Odysseus and plays her role way too well.

Circe actually owns pigs and gives them to the cast to use them in her set of songs.

Apollo spends half his time playing the music for every battle/or in general scenes.

Apollo is an expert at all sorts of musical instruments, so, this makes him perfect for the role.

Hera has the vocal range for all sorts of backup vocals in some of the songs.

Instead of Eurylochus doing all the vocals of the crew alone, Polites, Odysseus, Zeus, Poseidon, Hermes, and Antinous all probably help him.

Epic Actor AU!

Since there's a film coming based on the Odyssey, what if it Odysseus's journey wasn't real, and all just a film somebody made? What are there lives like? What do you think that fun shenanigans, would you like to see behind the scene? Here's some. of my thoughts.

Penelope and Odysseus are also married outside of the film, with Telemachus (Who's 16 IRL, not 20) and a baby girl.

Telemachus likes to brag about all the famous people he met to his friend.

Penelope also acted Sirenelope's scene.

Also while she was getting ready (for said scene), the baby started crying and Penelope put her back to sleep with a lullaby. Odysseus joked than siren songs do work.

Scylla is a dog person and actually has 6 dogs.

These 6 dogs, under the care of Aeolus, accidentally ruin filming, when they ran on scene.

Antinous and Calypso are dating. (Because I'm in love with this crackship, thanks @irunaki)

Antinous isn't a horrible person, he's everyone's favourite 'uncle'. (Birthday Saga heheh)

During a God Meet and Greet, Ares cried when a little kid was dressed up as him.

Athena really, REALLY likes coffee, and is clumsy as hell.

EPIC: The After Story... | Chapter 1: She's Back!

*Ithaca was back to normal... The suitors, gone. Odysseus, home. Telemachus, and Penelope, happy... It was mostly calm now... Besides the fact that Odysseus had brought back the child of Prince Hector, from Troy... Yet, the kid wasn't all that bad, to be honest.*

*Today, Astyanax's and Telemachus' sister, Kaliza, was coming back from a few years trip she had went on. She had been gone for two years...*

*So, at about 8:00 A.M, when the sun was rising distantly on the horizon, Telemachus went to wake his parents from their sleep.*

"MOM! DADDD!"

*He shouted, as he kicked open the door.*

*Both of them jerked awake, Penelope hugging Odysseus for a moment, before relaxing. Ody sighed, and spoke,*

"Yes, son?"

"Kaliza's coming home today, remember?!"

*Telemachus was practically bouncing off the walls with excitement.*

"Relax, Telemachus, we know,"

*Penelope laughed, softly, amused.*

"Now, I'll get your brother... You and your father should go to the docks and wait, we'll be down soon."

*Telemachus nodded, and raced out of the room.*

*Odysseus let out a short chuckle, and gave his wife a quick kiss on the cheek. Before slowly getting up, and following after his son. Much slower, and more calm.*

[POV: Penelope]

*I watched, and smiled, before I stood up myself. Firstly getting dressed in a much more appropriate outfit, and brushing my hair. Then exiting into the halls of our palace.*

*I waved to a few servants, said a couple of "hellos", until reaching Astyanax's room. I opened the door, and saw the boy asleep, curled up under a blanket.*

*I walked over, and softly whispered,*

"Wake up, sleepyhead."

*Astyanax opened his eyes, slowly, letting out a tired groan... He turned over, onto his back, and instantly woke up more when he saw his "mother".*

"Mom!"

*He exclaimed, happily, and leaned himself up.*

"There's my little sunshine,"

*I said, as I hugged him, before pulling away. I then said,*

"Your sister's coming home today!"

"I have a sister?..."

*The young ten year old questioned, in confusion...*

*Kaliza had been gone at the time, when a Odysseus had returned. So, she hasn't even really met her father... Nor her other adopted brother.*

*I nodded, with a small laugh,*

"Yes, yes you do! You get to meet her today."

"Yay!"

*Astyanax cheered, with an excited giggle.*

"That's the spirit, my sunshine... Let's get you dressed, and we'll head down to the shore,"

*I said, before looking for some daily clothes for him.*

[POV: Telemachus]

*I had a skip in my step, as I walked beside my father. We were walking on the sandy pavement of the city itself, taking the path to the beaches.*

*I heard my father speak, after moments of silence,*

"What's she like? I've never even met her, so... I'm just wondering how I need to act..."

*I looked at him, thinking a while, as I stared. Before answering,*

"She's tough, and most of the time serious-... That about sums her up?..."

"That doesn't give me much, but, I'll take it..."

*My father sighed, as he and I continued to walk.*

*We eventually reached the sea, quite a few people were gathered there. One being Lily, whom was a servant of ours, and the best friend of my sister. Her husband, Ereu, stood next to her.*

*In the distance, though, someone caught both me, and our father's eyes. Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom, me and my sister's mentor, stood far off.*

*She seemed to notice us, and gave a nod. A small smile on her face, as her scar shown in the faint sunlight.*

*I nodded back, and my father gave a bow, before leaning back up straight. I laughed, softly, at how messy and quick the bow was.*

"What-?"

*My father asked, raising an eyebrow.*

"Nothing, nothing-!"

*I couldn't help but grin, as I saw him roll his eyes.*

*I then heard footsteps behind us, and turned. Seeing my mother, and little brother, coming down the path. My father went to meet them halfway, as I continued to watch the water.*

[POV: Odysseus]

*I took my wife's hand, and helped her down the trail the rest of the way. I then stopped, next to Telemachus, and looked out across the water.*

*After a moment, I felt a tug on my cape, and I looked down at Astyanax, who had pulled it.*

"Dad?..."

*He whispered, looking at me with wide, slightly nervous, eyes.*

"Yes, son?"

*I asked, confused, but also concerned.*

"What do I do-?... What do I say-?"

*He questioned, starting to shake uneasily...*

*I chuckled, gently, before crouching infront of him. I placed a hand on his shoulder, and said,*

"Astyanax... Just be you... You'll be the best little brother to her in the world!"

*Astyanax nodded... Looking more reassured... He clinged onto me, and I stood up straight again. I placed a hand on his head, rubbing his head, to calm him more.*

*I suddenly heard Telemachus call out, while jumping up and down,*

"A ship! A ship! I see a ship!!"

*We all looked back towards the water, and, sure enough... There was a ship in the distance... Not far from shore. It was coming straight towards Ithaca, and a figure stood at the head of it. Someone who looked like...*

Kaliza.

EPIC: The After Story... | Chapter 2: Reunion and A Distant Returning. —

[POV: Kaliza.]

*I see a crowd of people, lined up on shore, and I feel a smile take shape on my face. The few that stick out are my family, my best friend, and her family.*

*I look at the distance between myself and the sandy ground ahead. It wasn't that much further...*

*Within moments, I feel a jolt, as the wood of the boat collides softly with the docks. I let any others that came with me filter off, before walking off deck myself.*

*I am, in a short instant, hugged by my brother, Telemachus, and my mother, Penelope. Then, here comes over Lily, and her husband. I even get to say hello to the baby...*

*Then, I set my eyes on a younger boy, and a man...*

"Um, hi," *Astyanax says, shyly, as he approaches me. At the current moment, I had no idea who this boy was...*

"Hello, little one. What do you need?" *I ask, with a faint tilt of my head. My long blonde hair shifts with my movements.*

"I-... I'm your younger brother ... Adopted, I mean... My name's Astyanax!"

"Hm, well, then, nice to meet you! My name's Kaliza," *I smile, softly. I had to mentally admit, he was really cute...*

*I then look back at the man, and stare for a few moments. A sense of familiarity fills me, even if I have no idea who he is,*

"Father?" *I question, as if I just knew...*

"... Kaliza," *Odysseus says, with a small, almost nervous smile.*

*I feel tears sting behind my eyelids, and I quite suddenly embrace my dad. He was home. He even knew my name...*

*I get a sense of the others around me smiling at the sight, especially Telemachus and my mom. This was nice...*

[POV: Lily.]

*I watch my best friend, with a wide, gapping smile, while I rock the tiny human in my arms. My husband spoke, and we all turned to look at him,*

"We've made dinner at the palace, Kaliza. So, if you all would like to head up, I'm sure we all would like to."

"Of course! It is chilly out, after all," *I hear both Kaliza agree and comment.*

"Well, let's go then!" *Telemachus grins, and I and the others watch as he begins to race up the road towards the palace previously mentioned.*

*Kaliza takes off after him, and I softly laugh,* "Be careful! Don't fall!"

[POV: No one.]

*The family and friends quickly follow after the two siblings, Astyanax catching up quicker than the others. They all pass two others, not acknowledging them at the current moment...*

"Whoa-... Hm, I see they're off in a hurry... Hang on, was that Kaliza?" *One asks, looking at the other.*

"Right... I forgot she was returning today... Just more to deal with, Maggie," *The other says, with a deep sigh.*

"Oh, that makes sense... Anyway, we can worry about them later... Come on, Luci!" *Maggie said, before continuing to walk.*

*Luci followed, closely behind... She glanced over her shoulder once, before looking back ahead. Something felt off. Like, something. Or... Someone. Was coming back, but, from where?*

Discussion

You know, scrolling through reddit. I noticed that many people tend to not understand sin, and how things are sin. I'm aware this may cause backlash, but in all honesty I'd rather say the truth to all. Don't want the lord pulling me over in heaven and questioning why I didn't speak up on this lol. Besides, I feel it may help others perhaps have more clarity on certain things, even if it hurts. And believe me you, I'm guilty as charged ^^' So, if this does get out to the world, I'm open to hear any questions about what may or may not be sin. One that I will be discussing here in a couple of days will be one I believe every person has struggled with. Though to start in advance, I will briefly say what sin is. Sin is an act which separates us from God. Unfortunately, it's also something which leads to death. Which is why Christ came for us all, that whosoever believes in him, shall be adopted and cleansed of all sin. In other words, the debt we were meant to pay, was payed off by our lord, who endured so much because of his love for us.

Verse of the day: Romans 7:24-25

24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
