Y/N , Mina and Occhaco were all staring at a phone, looking at videos of penguins, and one of the three girls occasionally saying aww at the video.

Bakugo had just finished training with Todoroki, and came to get Y/N for their usual after class gas station run for snacks, so they could study together. Most people would call this a date, and despite the fact that Y/N and Bakugo had been in the “ talking” phase for a few weeks. They had not made the step to make it official. They both wanted to, Y/N enjoyed being with Bakugo and wanted to go on actual dates with him. Like to the movies or out for lunch. She wanted to snuggle up close to him at night and watch movies with her.

And Bakugo adored Y/N more than anything, he wanted to hug her every time she looked at him with those eyes, he wanted to take her places that boyfriends take girlfriends. He wanted to cook for her, he wanted to ask her to be his. But h didn’t because he didn’t want to ruin the best thing he ever had.

“ Ready to go?” He asked. “ What you girls looking at?” He asked.

“ Oh…” She hesitated.” Nothing important,” she snatched the phone jamming it in her pocket. She stood up and grabbed her bookbag and started to walk to the gas station.

They were about halfway to the gas station, the air was silent and clam, the occasional car would speed by, but other than that he was silent and easy. They were walking so close together that their fingertips kept grazing each other. Bakugo finally grabbed her hand, and turned to see her beginning to flush with blush.

“ Hey Y/N… what was that video you were watching earlier?”

“ It was about penguins… they mate for life.”

“ Oh really.” He asks, wondering if he was being thrown a weird hint, or something strange.

“ Yeah.. they give each other rocks to show their commitment.”

Bakugo only responded with a low pitched grunt, and they continued their walk in a quiet silence. And their evening procced as normal, but Bakugo couldn’t stop thinking about rocks, and how much he wanted to mate for life.

The next day, Bakugou found the smoothest rock he could find and durning lunch he pulled Y/N aside.

“ So I uhh… I got you something.” He spoke, his face was flushed with red, and he was clearly fight nervous.

“ Really. “ Her eyes lit up, but then her face softened. “ You didn’t have to get me anything.”

“ Its no big deal really.” He spoke pulling out the rock from his pocket. He placed it in her open hand. “ I got you a rock,  to show you my commitment.” 

“ You did?”

“ Yeah. Will you be my girlfriend?”

acceptance is not going to hurt.

there are no quests. no moral choices. no divine prophecies. your worthiness is not questioned by your suffering . . . yet, you are still trapped. you are in your own cage.

why are you treating shifting like a quest? as if you are the hero in this greek myth, encountering gods and magical objects, evolving and understanding the world by completing a task who looked bigger than you. and your reward? is going back home.

but, it can be easy. and you are not used to this.

it looks like enemy territory. when people around you seemed to have it simple and you had to put twice of their effort to even accomplish something. it feels like everything you did in life is not worthy; simple tasks required hours of your time, and something as . . . whimsical as shifting, is simple? you are holding on your past experiences because that’s all you know. at the end you still accomplished those tasks, so with shifting is going to be the same.

but what if it’s the holding that it’s hurting you? accepting to let go is not a cruel joke. the cruelty is staying in a situation that is not helping you . . . and everything you accomplished in your life is not going to disappear because you acknowledged that something can be easy. acceptance doesn’t ask you to forget. it’s healing your suffering. it wants to make you understand that your cage is not everything that exists in the world.

accept it. the cage is open. you can walk away.

Very. He shows affection through pyschical touch and acts of service I’d say but please tell him he’s doing a good job, he needs it.

B - Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

He’s a great best friend and I stand by that. He definitely supports you through everything. Wanna be a hero? He’s sure you’ll do great. An artist? He’ll buy you whatever material you want and will even offer to help you. I’d say you two were childhood friends, and because you were always there, the crush he has on you now was inevitable.

C - Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He loves loves loves cuddles, because he gets to touch you, of course. I feel like he’d want to be the bigger spoon, so he can feel that you’re there and not going anywhere tho he likes being the small spoon as well.

D - Dreams (How do they picture their future with their s/o?)

He doesn’t plan that far into the future, but whatever he decides to do, he wants you to be in it. And whatever you decide to do, he’d be more than happy to be there.

E - Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

I feel like this precious boy wouldn’t break up with you outta nowhere. He’d have a good reason for that. And if he did, he’d be very nervous and sad. He’d want to stay as friends, unless you did something really bad.

F - Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He definitely wants to marry you. He’d want to wait until you two are ready to actually get married of course, but once you two start talking about it (especially after graduation, when he’s a pro) he’ll pop the question. It won’t be anywhere crowded, just the two of you, and it will be very romantic.

G - Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

He’s very gentle, both pyschically and emotionally. He would never hurt you on purpose. If you got in a fight with him (which is very rare because he always tries to see things through your p.o.v.) he wouldn’t raise his voice at you. If, by some miracle, he made you cry he’d probably start crying with you. He always listens to what you have to say, and he’s so nice about it. Please love him or i will.

H - Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

He loves hugs, just as he loves cuddles. He hugs you whenever he gets the chance. He gets kinda shy when in front of other people but he gets better with it in years, and now you can’t escape. His hugs are very gentle, and he squeezes you just the right amount.

I - I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

This sweet boy would get so shy when you first started to date, so it would take a while for him to gather up the courage to say it. He would probably say it while you’re asleep at first, when he’s sure you won’t hear him, but after some time with you he’d start saying it nearly all the time.

J - Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He isn’t the type to get jealous easily. He gets insecure intead, because what if you found someone better than him? Please reassure him that it’s not true.

K - Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

I just know his kisses are divine. i’ve never been kissed so please excuse my very short writing or i’d probably make it weird he likes kissing you on the forehead and he likes it when you kiss his scars, but he’s too shy to admit it.

L - Little ones (How are they around children?)

He’s great with them! He likes hanging out with children and probably wants some of his own.

M - Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

He wakes up really early to go on runs so you’re probably still asleep by the time he’s up. But if you do catch him sleeping, take a picture because those are rare.

N - Night (How are nights spent with them?)

He doesn’t stay up too late because he wants to wake up early in the mornings. That said, he will make sure you get a decent amount of sleep as well. He will also snuggle up to you.

O - Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

At first he tells you what he tells everyone. He’d need to know you for quite some time for him to reveal his secrets.

P - Patience (How easily angered are they?)

He’s very patient. It’s really hard to make him mad but he gets scary when he is.

Q - Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He remembers everything you tell him. Your favorite color? He’ll buy you stuff in that color. You have a specific order in a restaurants? He’ll remember that when he’s buying food, and maybe learn the recipe. An item you mentioned you liked/wanted? It’s miraculously sitting on your bed now, and no, Izuku is definitely not involved.

R - Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

He likes the quiet moments he has with you, where he can just sit back and watch you.

S - Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

He’s protective, but not in an overbearing way. He knows you can handle things yourself but he’s got your back just in case something goes wrong.

T - Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He thinks everything through. His gifts are either hand-made or they’re something you mentioned to him before. Dates are so much fun with him because he always makes sure it’s just the two of you so you can be as loud and ridicilous as you want. And he helps you with the everyday tasks too, you two share the tasks because otherwise he tries to do them all by himself.

U - Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

He wants you to be as comfortable as possible, which is a good thing, but he’s too hard on himself while trying to ensure your comfort. Please don’t let him.

V - Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He used to be kinda insecure of his looks because of how he got called “plain” but he got over it after he got together with you. He’s kinda insecure about his scars but you make sure to tell him he’s pretty with or without scars.

W - Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Yes. He sees you as his better half, and he doesn’t want to live in a world where you’re not there. He misses you very much when you’re away.

X -Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

I think he knows how to dance, and actually likes dancing.

Y -Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

I think he wouldn’t like sweets that much. I have no idea why I just think he’d prefer sour foods.

Z - Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

He won’t let go of you the entire night and if you try to get up he’ll either tighten his hold on you, or wake up and pout at you. Either way you’re staying in bed until he’s ready to wake up.
