Oh yeah, my dad. Growing up my mom always said how he and I both had od little mannerisms. Of course I grew up on a farm in a rural place so nobody really took mental health too seriously.

"Therapists are for rich people," my parents always said. And yeah, we were not that.

Anyway, with my current attempts to get a diagnosis, I started to realise that the things my dad and I had in common (Hyperfixations, aversions to certain textures, mimicking nerotypicals.) What's funny is I recently also was taught that autistic people's special intrest can be "People" and that's like my dads second main special interest.

If I had to think of a VERY loose comparison, Kabru comes to mind, though my dad has a much less calculating way about him. He is also the classic autistic stereotype of insanely good at math, excelling in geometry. He also has a ton of other special interests, tractors, antique milk bottles, and also true crime/bio pics/documentaries on groups of different people(though I feel that ties in with his human fascination)

The funniest thing, though, is that me and my dad and I really couldn't be anymore different 🤣 we are the perfect example of "If you meet one autistic person, you have met ONE autistic person)

I'm seriously starting to suspect my mom is autistic and she just doesn't know it yet or is in deep, deep denial, considering the stigma and all the misconceptions/prejudice she has about mental health...

Anyone had a similar experience?

I'll be real, this is almost vent art. I am autistic, i can't touch people, but i want to. People i can handle being touched by are very, very few and far between. there have been four in my life. Touch starvation is real shit, craving something you can't handle. And yet then there are those few, few that you can. What won't you do to keep them? I don't know. The list is short. I feel like i can project this on Perturabo without much character conflict LOL.

Happy Valentines Day! I'm just gonna go buy some more minis and finish my fnaf marines, hopefully.

Okay, I hit a tiny art block/exhaustion, so I kit bashed and painted this. (Full tutorial below the pics)

I love him! Also, the white was insanely easy to do.

If you wanna recreate this interpretation of UltraMOOrines here's how u do it:

(Kits needed - Any Primaris Marines, Chaos legionaries)

First, u make the Primarus Marines as instructed(i personally like triming down the neck plate, but u dont have to) omitting the head.

Next, take one of the chaos legionaries' heads(preferably one with horns) and put it on.

Boom UltraMOOrines. Super simple. Only prob is ur kinda buying a hole kit just for the heads, so either do what I do and kit bash the remaining parts into other cool ideas or, get the helms of a friend/ Bit site.

Now for the fun part!!:

Prime light grey( I use Vallejo Ghost Grey Surface Primer.)

Then, do an overall base of a dark blue( I used Army painter Navy Blue, but any saturated dark blue should do)(might have to do 2 coats)

Then, after it dries, dribrush(with a MOIST/DAMP dry brush not wet) a mix of- 2 parts light grey paint, 1 part light de saturated blue, and 1 part white) all over the mini, leaving only the deepest recesses that blue base

Then pick a light source and gradually mix more light blue and white and "dry"brush (one part light blue to 2 parts white)

Then all the black(not the spots yet) mix ur dark blue base colour with a dark grey and a little black(1:2:1) go over the trim/weapons

Add metallics(weapons/back vents)

If u left the aquilla, paint it an ultramarine blue and hilight with ur light desaturated blue do the same on the right shoulder pad. (This step is completely optional, especially if u shaved off the aquila)

Paint the undersuit blue

Go paint the leather any brown u like

Paint the horns however you usually paint bone

Now the fun part go through with your dark grey mix add a little more black and go wild!(I used a reference picture of a cow and recommended u do the same but I'm not ur mom)

Do an overall wash of your favourite marine juice (I used Nuln oil, Agrax Earthshade, and Drakenhof Nightshade, 2:1:2 mix)

Go back over with a strong matte white and highlight/clean up the white areas and the eyes.

Finally, red contrast paint to the eyes mand paint the base green(I would've added grass tuffs but I don't got any)

I'm not a Space Marine player, even less an Ultramarine player, my army of choice is the Adepta Sororitas (with faith and fire 🙌🙌🙌) so.. I ask, with no judgement in my heart.

I now have a mental image of Repentia Superior hoarding the Repentias with a spray bottle (or a whip, both work) to the bathroom because you can't convince me Repentias take care of themselves. Those ladies stink of gore, violence and burning candles.

Also consider: borderline feral Repentias. Hissing at people and looking at their superiors like scared animals... What religious trauma and indoctrination does to the motherfucker.

I finished my design for Lord Mammon Sin of Avarice (Greed). I did some searching, and apparently, toads and foxes are linked/symbols of greed.

Also, 4 arms for him to steal/hold more.

But he is absolutely a swindler. He is the tallest of the high deamon lords and is particularly good friends with the sin of envy and is a complete kiss-ass to Lucifer. He's not a fan of my sona, but he tolerates them. Don't be fooled by his size he's one of the faster lords

But, of course, Moira stops him from hurting Neaera. She is good now, the two of them are with the Ynnari, the very ones that helped resurrect uncle Roboute! So Lion now had no choice but to glare DAGGERS at Neaera, while catching up with his long lost niece. Any time the poor eldar girl does anything wrong, Lion just goes:
