ready for the trinity santos and dennis whitaker bestfriendship of all time on levels that no one else can comprehend. i need them to walk into the next season arguing about how trinity broke the coffee machine in the one singular way where it's unfixable. need dennis to talk about how someone tried to break into the apartment and trinity broke their arm in five places. they watch shitty medical dramas together and get genuinely angry at inaccuracies and use said inaccuracies to quiz each other. trinity took no less than 100 pictures on dennis's residency match day. dennis tells trinity that he's survived multiple tornadoes and her only reaction was calling him a loser because he's never been stormchasing. this isn't even all the thoughts i've had and i finished the finale 15 minutes ago
the washington's have the saddest endings and i do not appreciate it. beth sees her sister get humiliated, so she runs after her in the snowy mountains, falls off a cliff with her, and dies. hannah gets humiliated, so she runs out of the cabin, falls off a cliff with her sister and surprisingly doesn’t die. she then had to stay trapped in the mines with her dead sister's body, decided to bury her, but then EATS HER because it had been a month of her being stuck in there and chose not to starve to death. which leads to her turning into a wendigo. josh having lost his two sisters over a stupid prank brings everyone back to the mountain to have some type of closure, while going through withdrawals, and as a result is either killed by handigo or is taken by her to become a wendigo himself. and only in the remake, made TEN YEARS LATER, do they give josh the chance to actually survive like the others. not to mention that the parents will have now lost all of their children. the fact none of them get a happy ending makes me so angry. i need to lie down
Welcome back demolition lovers
I like that Matt and Jessica are each other’s second highest relationship... sigh I’m currently replaying until dawn but this time I’m only gonna have those two survive
I think jeff and britta’s entire dynamic can be summed up by the scene in basic sandwich where they’re in that tunnel loudly shushing each other like children but the second someone else tries to shush either of them they immediately turn to shushing everyone else *together*

does this make sense
(i saw someone talking about their dynamic and shbwbsbwhdbekdjw so enjoy this 5 pixel edit i made on picsart 2 minutes ago)
something i appreciate about community's depiction of abed is how he's not only cool with physical affection from his friends, he's often the one who initiates it. he loves his friends, his friends love him and they enjoy being close. they find comfort in each other's presences. i feel like this sort of thing is rare in media featuring autistic characters idk it just makes me love him (+ the study group) more
yoooo 😭😭😭😭
It's crazy how Michael barely appears in the show. There is another version of Mikkel, but he never becomes Michael. Then he doesn't even exist in the original world. In the beginning he haunts the story from both sides. From the start of the first episode with Jonas having nightmares about his dead father to the end of the episode with Mikkel's disappearance.
Everything about Michael in Season 1 is this haunting presence for Jonas. His scenes in Season 1 are mostly just appearing covered in a black substance. We discover he's Mikkel, the little boy, but we don't know about the man he became and why he made the choices he did. Until we finally meet him again in season 2 and it all makes sense. He is really fantastic in "An Endless Cycle," which is the only episode where we really have him as Michael.
While Michael wasn't the character with the most screen time, it was a wonderful use of the same character in different times. Mikkel builds the story, we already know him when we get to Michael's part, and it feels like a perfect way to fulfill the character arc. It is just fitting and absolutely heartbreaking to see the character accept his fate because of how much he loves Jonas.
season 2 of severance is so wild, first they go outside and now we found out that one of the guys used to have books in his home
