I just rewatched detective pikachu and I wondered that what if the pmd world exists because they didn’t stop that guy who swapped body’s with Mewtwo (can’t remember his name right now) and since everyone was turned into Pokémon and they couldn’t turn back they just slowly went back to their lives but then weird stuff happened. And that is how they know what a human is.

Pmd Au where instead of you (the player) being a human with amnesia. Your partner is the one who was human who turned into a Pokémon. And you the player are a Pokémon but you only know so little about the Pokémon world. And somehow your partner knows more because they remember being a trainer and their name but everything else that is their past life is forgotten.
So I’ve been replaying Pmd eos. (On a different game card) and I’m playing a Eevee named Abby. And my partner is a Bulbasaur named Thorn. So far I haven’t died.
