keith and lance have their first date at an aquarium. keith knows how much water means to lance, and how much lance loves all kind of animals from the sea, especially sharks. so, he thought that would be the perfect place for their first date, when keith finally had the courage to ask lance out.

lance was of course thrilled. not only did his long time crush keith kogane ask him out, no, but their first date was also at an aquarium he’d been planning on visiting for a long time now. lance excitingly tells keith everything he knows about the animals they are seeing. keith is patently listening, having this specifically fond and soft smile on his face. the kind of smile that he only has whenever he’s around lance.

overall, the date went well. keith even got lance a plush animal in the form of a shark. they later eat dinner at a wonderful restaurant, and this time, lance was insisting on paying.

(“but, keith, you already asked me out on this date, and even got me a gift. that’s so not fair! you can’t one up me, not when it’s about being romantic!”

“but-

“nah, mister, I don’t wanna hear it. I’m a true gentleman, and therefore I will pay for our dinner. end of discussion”)

after spending a little more time together, talking and holding the others hand, keith brings lance home on his bike. they share their first kiss under the moonlight at lances door, and keith realizes he’s more gone for that wonderful boy with those blue eyes than he already knew.

This, however, only served to amuse Sephiroth further and he mischievously bit the nape of the blond's neck gently before sucking on the same spot. The mark would be fairly well hidden, he supposed, which was a shame.

"Nn, do you wanna crash? I feel like you do." When his only answer was a hum of satisfaction against his skin, he warned, "One more stunt like that and you'll be walking the rest of the way there. Got it?"

"Understood," he practically purred in his ear, "though you seem to have forgotten that I can fly."

"Shut up."

That tidbit was taken from my story over on AO3, The Last Chance. It's Sefikura Saturday again, and although this was a rough week, I thankfully have quite a few half-finished manipulation projects, so I was able to complete this yesterday without too much trouble. (And by that I just mean that I cleaned the layers from their backgrounds and saved it as a project file-and sometimes there are many, many layers when I need to try many Cloud's or Sephiroth's to find the right match…) I'm not fully satisfied with the perspective, but I think it turned out pretty well. :) Sephiroth is likely holding Masamune in his left hand, so it makes sense he'd be holding his arm out a bit anyway. His right arm is the one that is wrapped around Cloud… 😏 I would've gone into the game and gotten exactly the angle I wanted, but I really didn't have time this week. Maybe I'll do a version 2.0 later(and add Sephiroth's right hand in there).

On a side note, my internet is trash again and I had to wait more than 15 minutes for the images to load...
