Hello lovelies!
I want to get some more practice in my Spanish studying, specifically my writing and reading skills. I want to start posting some writing in Spanish on Tumblr but I'm a bit wary of doing so on my main profile because I feel like it's going to throw off the vibe and aesthetic of my blog. That being said, I am going to create a Spanish side blog! I hope you guys will give me a follow over there and help me out with my sentence structure, vocabulary, grammar, and just how I'm doing in Spanish overall!

Day 8 - 90 Day Challenge π
Yesterday was a decently productive day for someone who did not want to do anything. I managed to get some stuff done so let's dive on in.
πββοΈ Physical Health
bought some electrolyte waters
cooked a healthy dinner (chicken, baked potatoes, roasted brussel sprouts)
walked to and from campus + got some sunlight
took my morning medication and supplements
bought some cute new gym clothes on Amazon, which I see as an investment in my health <3
π§ Mental Health
had an honest conversation with my boyfriend about how I've been feeling lately
β€οΈ Emotional Health
allowed myself to rest with my emotions for a while
π Intellectual Health
completed a culinary quiz
took notes for my psychology class for 1.5 hours
made a list of homework to be done by Sunday night
π Adulting
researched the cost and possibility of adding a second major
researched bikes and gym membership cost (I'd use the bike to get to the gym as I do not drive)
researched some more insurance stuff (still need to find a professional to help)
watched a horror movie with my roommates
zoom called my boyfriend
π₯° Self Love/Care
did morning skincare
showered and changed clothes
got out of the house for a little bit
not a bad day looking back on it. today is Thanksgiving, so Happy Thansgiving to all who celebrate and to everyone who doesn't celebrate it, I hope you all have a wonderful day as well.
My day is going to be slow, kind, and gentle as I am spending this holiday alone. I'll get to zoom call my boyfriend later, but other then that I'm pretty much on my own today. I intend to have a relaxing and enjoyable day.

2024 goals & resolutions π
with 2024 right around the corner I figured it would be a good idea to list out some of my 2024 goals in the different areas of my life. I will have financial goals, health goals, fitness goals, academic goals, and relationship goals.
π Financial Goals
build my savings account to a minimum of 1000$ by the end of the year
save enough (~800$) to move into an apartment with my boyfriend
pay off my two credit cards, then use them sparingly
begin investing my money
use a monthly budget spreadsheet (loosely)
π Health Goals
Follow a semi anti inflammatory diet using the 80/20 principle

only eat out on occasions, otherwise cook at home only

π Fitness Goals

keep a consistent weight lifting/cardio routine
begin attending pilates/workout classes
don't skip any of my yoga classes at my university
work on improving health and reaching my dream physique
π Academic Goals
raise my GPA closer to a 4.0
pass spring/fall classes with all B's/A's
keep a consistent study routine
turn in all assignments conplete and on time
increase class attendance as I am paying for my education and should utilize class time

Day 12 - 90 Day Challenge π
So, I'm going to be honest. Yesterday was a terribly rough day for me emotionally. I isolated myself in my room (my roommates had people over for a late Thanksgiving dinner), ordered way too much McDonald's (that I didn't even finish), and cried for a good 2 hours (me and my boyfriend were going through it). But, I figured it would still be a decent idea to post an update to my challenge and keep trying.
πββοΈ Physical Health
walked to work, walked home from work
walked over 10,000+ steps total
π§ Mental Health
nothing that I can remember
β€οΈ Emotional Health
cried, a lot, to release some pent up emotions
talked to my dad about how i was feeling (he always calls at the perfect time, he has a 6th sense for when I'm upset)
π Intellectual Health
again, nothing that I can remember. that just means I need to get on my grind later with that (6 page) assignment that's due today
π Adulting
showered after work
worked a 6 hour shift
deposited money into my bank account
recieved and put away some new gym clothes I got in the mail (so happy, everything I bought was so cute and just extremely perfect <3 amazon gym clothes for the win)
π₯° Self Love/Care
did my morning skincare
didn't force myself to do homework knowing how emotional I was
planned my workouts for this week (I'm going to start running again, but slowly building my way up because I am a bit on the heavy side so I don't want to overdo it and risk injury. I also still love lifting weights, which I'm going to keep doing 3 days a week <3)
It's rough dealing with life with mental illness, but I just remind myself that bad days don't make this a bad life. It's all about perspective for me. The more I look on the bright side, the longer I can stay in the light <3

Ps. Please check out my depop shop link! Much love, will include it here as well
Did not do these yesterday as I did indeed stay for a double shift at my job, so these are my todo for when I get home from work today, 9/29/24!
To Do Today 9/28/24
I was supposed to work a long double shift today at my normal job and then a kinda side job task that involves talking to a ton of people and being out late at night. I've decided I'm going to tell my bosses I can't do it, because the anxiety I've felt about doing it has made me thrown up already π
so here's the stuff I am going to do today:
pre lab 24 chemistry
pre lab 25 chemistry
chemistry lecture quiz
catch up on chem lecture notes
catch up on psyc lecture notes
catch up on accounting lecture notes
complete other intro to business assignments
study japanese
study for TEAS exam
It sounds like a lot, but honestly, it should not take me all night to do all these things so I'll be fine, as long as I get then done!
see you in the update later, lovelies π©·
I love this, gotta try some of these
you know i had to include the ultimate form of social media. pinterest is one of the only truly peaceful social media apps out there and focuses on sharing photos to your themed boards. this app is everything if youβre into making vision boards, moodboards, beauty, productivity, and really anything else. thereβs something there for everyone!
finch
this is a wonderful self-care app, in which you take care of a bird while taking care of yourself! this is my new favorite app. i use the free version and it is adorable. the app asks you some questions about your goals and how you feel about self care, and gives you some daily goals based on your answers, but you can delete and add goals of your own. the more you log in and track your goals, the more adventures your bird can go on and the more they grow. i recommend this app to absolutely everyone and i will never shut up about it.
gymshark training
this is a free training app including many different types and styles of workouts. you can search for workouts based on duration, equipment used, the targeted muscle, and so on. you can also add workouts and plans of your own and track your progress.
i am sober
this is my favorite app for if you have something you want to quit. this isnβt just for substances or alcohol, but can also be used for quitting sugar, skin picking, caffeine, fast food, and so many other things. you can track your progress, review your days, make pledges, and connect with others who are struggling with the same thing you are. you are also given motivational quotes and reminders when you log into the app. there is an option for a subscription, but i use the free version and have had no problems with it at all.
study bunny: focus timer
an adorable focus timer where you gain coins with every goal/time you accomplish something with your focus timer and you can spend your coins on cute little accessories for your bunny! the only real issue with this app is that the ads are kind of crazy, and itβs $15 a month to go ad-free.
flora - green focus
this app includes a pomodoro timer and plants a tree in a rural community based on how often you stay focused using the timer on the app. the app does not plant a tree unless you opt for their subscription, which is $2 per year and allows you to plant one tree for 120 hours of focused time. you can also plant a tree every 24 hours with the $10 plan.
focus to-do: focus timer&tasks
this app combines a pomodoro timer with a daily to-do list. the app is free to use, but includes additional features for those with a subscription, which is $3 for every three months or $9 for a lifetime membership.
balance: meditation & sleep
a great app that includes nightly reviews, meditations, and sleep sounds. this app has great reviews, but itβs worth noting that itβs not completely free. it includes a trial, after which is $12 per month, or $70 per year.
insight timer - meditate & sleep
just as it sounds, this is another great app for meditations, ambient sounds for sleep, and progress tracking. there are tons of free things included in the app, but if you want to unlock everything, the premium plan is $10 per month or $60 per year.
structured - daily planner
an app with great reviews intended to help organize your daily tasks into achievable goals and track your progress. the app has basic features for free, but also includes a premium subscription if you want to unlock all the features.
routineflow: guided routines
this app caters to those who have difficulties staying focused and maintaining a set routine by guiding your routine for you and managing your progress. the app gives you one routine for free, but if you want another, you would need to pay for the $30 annual subscription.
how we feel
a wonderful free journaling app developed by therapists and scientists for logging your emotions, talking to other users, and tracking your mood patterns.
gentler streak fitness tracker
if youβre tired of the constant work and grind mentality, this may be the app for you. this app takes a gentler approach to fitness by tracking exercise, giving encouragement, and notifying you if you are overworking yourself. the app itself is free, but certain features require a subscription, which is $8 per month or $50 per year.
glo | yoga and meditation app
glo is a highly rated app for yoga, pilates, and meditation. unlike most of the other apps listed, you canβt really access much on glo for free. to access the full courses, they offer two plans: $30 per month or $245 per year.
waterllama
another adorable app that lets you track your water intake with a cute llama! super motivating and is free for basic features. if you want to unlock all features, the subscription is $7 per year.
mindllama
made by the same people as waterllama, this app allows you to practice and track your meditation and breathwork practice with a cute llama! like waterllama, the app is free, but some features require a subscription, which varies depending on whether you want the premium plan, the anxiety relief plan, or the sleep focused plan.
daily bean - simplest journal
another super cute app that helps you track your days and moods. the app itself is free, but a premium plan is also offered, which is $20 per year.
schmoody: mood & habit tracker
this app aims to help you through depression, anxiety, and/or adhd by helping you track your habits, talk to other users, and give you the resources to get you back on track. the free version includes the βessentialsβ to support mental health and well-being, but they also offer a premium version, which unlocks more resources and personalized options. the subscription is $15 per month, $60 per year, or $100 for a lifetime membership.
meditation timer - zenitizer
this is a meditation timer that focuses on simplicity and organization while tracking your meditation practice. a free version is available with a limited amount of content, but a premium version is also offered, which is $3 per month, $20 per year, or a $50 one-time payment.
mineral - gratitude journal
this is a free journaling app that is secure in the fact that you have to use face id in order to access your journal. this app is definitely more simple, but effective nonetheless.
focus keeper: productive timer
this app is a popular pomodoro-style timer app. iβve heard that this app works wonders for many people with adhd. the app is free, but includes additional content and features for those with a subscription.
For the ask game #6; What are your career goals?
My previous career goals were to be a Registered Dietitian, running my own facility for outpatient eating disorder treatment. I am someone who struggled with two types of ED's and I want to help people who are going through them too.
Right now, my goals have switched a bit, so I don't exactly know what my future holds, but I am still planning on working with ED recovery in a nutrition based setting. I have to get my masters to be a dietitian, and I don't know if I'll have the resources to do so. We shall see what the future holds!
Day 1/90: 90-Day Challenge π
Here we go again!!
Happy 1st of Febrary, lovelies π©·
I was initially planning on coming back starting Monday but omg was I so tired after working all weekend and trying to keep up with school work. And now tomorrow is Friday, again? At least I'm not working double shifts this weekend, thankfully.
πββοΈ Physical Health
walked ~10k steps
ordered some groceries
attempted to go to the gym (was having a bad day so it did not work out like that)
π§ Mental Health
not much, but had a well needed, sorta relationship check in with my boyfriend due to some worrisome and upsetting dreams I had the previous night
β₯οΈ Emotional Health
distracted myself from being sad and grumpy
π Intellectual Health
completed and submitted my 1st psyc assignment
planned homework for the next week in my planner
wrote down a sheet of things to remember for chemistry
π Adulting
recieved my new insurance card in the mail and the virtual copy as well
set up an appointment with my therapist for this month
set up an appointment with my psych doctor for this month
set up an appointment with my PCP for this month
submitted an order for my birth control + other medication thru my pharmacy app
paid rent + made a credit card payment
π₯° Self Care
washed a load of laundry
scheduled some cleaning chores for the weekend afternoons
set up a morning routine (in my notes app) for me to begin following
bought some more electrolyte waters for the week
today was honestly not the best day for me mental health wise, if I'm being completely honest. I nearly cried a little but, was definitely overly mean to myself, and felt like garbage for a good part of today. but that didn't stop me from making myself a good dinner, relaxing a bit, being productive, and ending the day in a good mood.
I have no clue what tomorrow's post is going to look like since I have an 8am to 230pm class (we're going to be cooking for ourselves in preparation for the mini restaurant well be running next week). Right after class I'll have to change my shirt and head up a small hill on campus to my job, where I'll work from about 3pm to 930ish pm. so we will see what happens in tomorrow's update!
