Tuesday was an odd day for me. Everything went fine, work went well, but for some reason by the end of the day, I was super upset about things, which was not what I had hoped to feel by the end of the day. But the day itself wasn't bad.

🩷 What I Accomplished:

listened to two podcast episodes in Spanish for passive input

typed up a detailed goals sheet

attended both classes for the day

worked an ~8 hour shift

studied chemistry

hit over 10k steps

began looking at how to fit exercise into my schedule/club pilates classes I could take

🩷 Good Things That Happened:

my supervisor and I knocked out a large catering order on time

talked to my dad on the phone for a bit

went to my psyc class, which I typically struggle to do

Realized studying the material from chemistry was actually helping me retain the information

got semi invited to go out after work some day soon with some work friends

🩷 What Could've Gone Better:

didn't get home until late cause work took forever

got weirdly emotional before falling asleep

super short zoom call with my boyfriend

did not study Spanish the way I wanted

was super tired all day

drank a coffee from a coffee shop on campus, and it messed up my stomach absolutely terribly (I need to stop buying coffee, my stomach can only handle the simple ones I make at home)

a co-worker was talking trash for no reason and was being super fake to my face, which was not fun because I thought him and I were cool with each other

🩷 Stuff To Do Tomorrow:

write psyc notes from lecture

study chemistry some more

decide final decision on declaring a 2nd major

double check my class schedule for next semester ( I register for classes tomorrow!!)

study my Spanish tasks that I didn't do Tuesday

keep boosting my depop shop (woke up to my first sold item this morning!)

cook dinner after lab

yeah, there's probably more that happened on Tuesday. Both good and bad, but I have no idea what it would be. I was so tired when I got home that I just forgot everything. I've got some weird memory issues. here's to tomorrow being better, hopefully!

Hello! I'm backkkkk! Now that I'm finally doing stuff again, I figured I'd start my daily check ins again and keep myself motivated and accountable with doing productive stuff daily! no challenges, no pressure, just an understanding that something is better than nothing!

🩷 What I Accomplished:

took a 2.5 hour nap in the morning (had an anxiety attack randomly that left ne absolutely exhausted but the nap was so nice)

reviewed a few Spanish lessons on Busuu

completed 2 new Spanish lessons on Busuu

completed 2 Korean Hangul lessons on Busuu

booked an Italki Spanish lesson for July 15th

booked an Italki trial lesson in Korean for July 24th (pushing myself to learn the alphabet and study as much as possible til then so I won't be an absolute absolute beginner, hopefully)

reached out to a tattoo/piercing shop about some piercings my friends and I want to maybe get while in Colorado

bought a margarita pizza from a little Italian pizza shop and it was DELICIOUS

journaled in the morning

did my night time skincare (I needed it, my face was dry and flaky)

drank ~40oz of water (definitely should've drank more)

reached out to an online health and fitness coach, so we'll see how that goes, if it goes anywhere

šŸ’” What Could've Gone Better:

random anxiety attack stopped me from going to workout so I stayed in bed most of the day, exhausted

didn't get many steps in or do much in general

ate 4 out of the 6 slices of pizza (it was comforting, idk. it happens, so I won't beat myself up. saved those 2 slices for my roommates if she wants them!)

could've definitely spent less time on tiktok and more time studying the languages I'm trying to learn

might even broken my middle toe on my left foot after slamming it into the side of a bottom drawer that I didn't know was open

šŸ’— Stuff For Tomorrow (July 3rd)

make all necessary payments (rent, new apartment, credit cards, etc)

study Spanish a bit (~1 hour or more)

study Korean Hangul a decent amount (~1 hour, or more, preferably)

try to workout or at least keep my steps up

do laundry

wash our towels (housekeeping here in seriously not the best)

find somewhere to buy Tylenol and tape for my (most likely) broken toe

try not to spend too much money eating out today, since I got paid

do not forget to take my medications!

morning journaling and night journaling

doing my skincare in the morning and at night

keeping up with my hygiene in general, like brushing teeth, shower exfoliation, Shaving, etc (kinds like having a self care maintenance day)

this is my favorite song to listen to on the bus home from work at the moment

not much left to say, but today will definitely be a good day for me! I'll make sure of it

I want to get my nails done soon since I'm on break from work and school and I can't decide what color!!! I'm torn between four colors, so help a girly out! I'm going for a coquette, feminine esque nail set but idk if I want light feminine, dark feminine, super girly. I just need to pick a color first! can anyone recommend some content creators that focus on leveling up, developing healthy habits and discipline, healthy financial habits, developing a better mindset, or like content about glowing up in all aspects of life?

especially any financial content creators that share tips on budgeting, saving, investing, and healthy spending habits.

but I'll accept any content creators from any platform that post about any of the mentioned topics, I'd really appreciate it!!

I want to make 2024 a better year for myself then 2023 was, so am looking to consume positive, healthy, leveling up content!

I've been in Colorado for 2 weeks, meaning I have 6 weeks left! Here are some of the goals I hope to achieve while here, now that I have a better understanding of my time and what activities I want to do out here!

šŸŽ€ My Goals šŸŽ€

consistent workout routine; minimum 3 days a week

minimum of 8k steps a day

morning and night gratitude journaling

morning and night skincare

use the hot tub once a week

go hiking at least once

start studying languages again (Spanish + Japanese)

cut back on my caffiene consumption, 1 cup a day maximum

try some new restaurants if financially possible

pay off rent and fees for upcoming move + current place I live back home

go to the hot springs (maybe....they kinda scare me)

maybe try a workout class in town (pilates, yoga, etc)

that's all I can think of for now! I will update thus list if anything pops up in my head for while I'm here! I'm only here until August 14th, and it's about to be July! How crazy!! I can't believe I've been here 2 weeks. It's seriously flown by. Honestly timento buckle down and do some new things!

Girlies, Help! šŸŽ€

So I am trying to decide if I should start incorporating fitness classes into my routine and I'm having some trouble making a couple of decisions! So I thought I'd turn to my beautiful community and get some help!

My options are:

start yoga at home and pilates at a studio

start pilates at home and join a yoga studio

do only pilates at a studio

do only yoga at a studio

join both a yoga studio and pilates studio

there's not a lot of places that offer both pilates and yoga in my town but I really want to diversify some of my workouts so I don't get bored and can meet all of my fitness goals too!

Let me know what you guys suggest and if you can, leave some comments with your experience with pilates or yoga studios! Please keep in mind I am a plus sized girly, so I'm a little anxious about group fitness but I think it'd be super beneficial!

Wednesday was such a long day, a day for no reason at all. It was a good day, tho I ended the night all moody. But it was a good day!

24 Minutes of Leg/Thigh Pilates

studied Spanish for 25 minutes

morning journaled

did my morning skincare

took a nap before worked

worked a ~6 hour shift

did my morning routine

got to hang out with my work friend for a bit

made plans to go shopping with that work friend next week

got to talk with my dad a little bit

did really good at work despite walking in and being told I had one hour to prep my station for the 400+ people we had coming in that night

started studying Spanish again!!

go to my psych doctor and therapy appointments

go to an early dinner with my dad after my appointments

order some groceries + things I need for the next few weeks

I have loved this song since I was like, 16 or 17? and I'm 21 now, and this is still a favorite of mine.

Dang, I was not as productive yesterday as I had thought. And there's not really much to do today either. Crazy! but I always enjoy the more mellow days, that's for sure! and I'm so excited to spend time with my dad today, I haven't gone out to eat with him in a while.

Yesterday was a decently productive day for someone who did not want to do anything. I managed to get some stuff done so let's dive on in.

bought some electrolyte waters

cooked a healthy dinner (chicken, baked potatoes, roasted brussel sprouts)

walked to and from campus + got some sunlight

took my morning medication and supplements

bought some cute new gym clothes on Amazon, which I see as an investment in my health <3

🧠 Mental Health

had an honest conversation with my boyfriend about how I've been feeling lately

allowed myself to rest with my emotions for a while

šŸ“š Intellectual Health

completed a culinary quiz

took notes for my psychology class for 1.5 hours

made a list of homework to be done by Sunday night

šŸ˜ Adulting

researched the cost and possibility of adding a second major

researched bikes and gym membership cost (I'd use the bike to get to the gym as I do not drive)

researched some more insurance stuff (still need to find a professional to help)

watched a horror movie with my roommates

zoom called my boyfriend

🄰 Self Love/Care

did morning skincare

showered and changed clothes

got out of the house for a little bit

not a bad day looking back on it. today is Thanksgiving, so Happy Thansgiving to all who celebrate and to everyone who doesn't celebrate it, I hope you all have a wonderful day as well.

My day is going to be slow, kind, and gentle as I am spending this holiday alone. I'll get to zoom call my boyfriend later, but other then that I'm pretty much on my own today. I intend to have a relaxing and enjoyable day.

Today was really good, so I'm looking forward to updating on that tonigjt/tomorrow morning. I'm also super excited to get my nails done and a haircut on Thursday! Plus I gotta go shopping for some new jeans, a new shirt or two to wear to Christmas Eve dinner with my boyfriend at his dad's house. May just cave in and buy him and I matching Christmas sweaters to be "that couple" for fun. Speaking of, I can't wait to see my man on Saturday <333 I haven't seen him since early October, so getting to spend a week and 2 holidays with him will be absolutely amazing. Hopefully his mom likes the little gifts I got her.
