a, t or y!!
A for Alejandro Ahn Féahinne (and his bird)!
He's an aloof and mysterious bounty hunter/magician from what is essentially a fictional version of Spain in the 1800s who specialises in eliminating powerful individuals and supernatural entities, hire him if you want a job done but don't mind collateral damage!
Alejandro was found abandoned outside a church as a baby and was raised at the site's orphanage. It's likely that one of his parents was some sort of spirit since he developed an unnaturally high affinity towards magic, had the power to communicate with animals, and could survive way longer without food or water than any human (discovered that last one after getting trapped in an empty well for almost 2 weeks as a kid). Due to his harsh upbringing, he resented most people and things, decided that he was just going to beat stuff up for a living one day and subsequently became a bounty hunter, and a really good one at that! He took down previously untouchable targets and made a name for himself in mere months.
He obtained his bird companion, Tuie, after ransacking an illegal exotic goods market and now they're basically inseparable, she's scarily intelligent and knows how to pick locks and bites on command.
hi! i love ur art with the personified spacecrafts, can i use them as pfps (with credit)?
Absolutely!
And of course I had to make his outfit more impractical because it ain't Dandy without an accessory that literally fucking impedes daily functions
Layers of Helios ⊙
The popular, red renderings of the sun we're most familiar with are often taken in the UV spectrum, showing light emitted from helium atoms in the chromosphere, whereas looking at it in visible light shows a completely blank, white orb (much like Venus… except your eyeballs get simmered off)
Wanted to draw something inspired by this fun little musing. :)
This ain’t the first time this guy appeared on my account, here’s some more of them!
letters from the end of the world
Sputnik 1 is 6x as heavy as Explorer. So, it is possible that he could carry him...
Oh, totally. But Sputnik's all about surprises, so why stop there?
(They live in low earth orbit with zero-G so it technically works both ways.)
Explorer 1 (and the old man (satellite) club)
