The big light from my Jon Hopkins trailer.
I was asked to contribute an image for Nobrow's seventh issue. The theme for this issue was "Another World". In my particular brief I was asked to create the artwork in two colours, Black and a second colour that would be choosen for me which was quite interesting. In the end im not sure how successful the narrative I designed was but it was still fun to take part in the project.
My book “The New Ghost" has recently been translated into French by Nobrow. It has also been given a new hardback cover too.
I now share my studio space with Jon Mcnaught, look at his work here. JON McNAUGHT ILLUSTRATION
I was recently asked by Granta magazine to illustrate a page for Gish Jen's great short story "The third dumpster".
I worked on a pitch last week for an animated commercial. I presented style frame images and a short animated test in a couple of days. Despite being told the pitch I provided was the strongest, unfortunately (typically), they changed their idea and have pulled the project. So to prevent it from being a complete waste of time above are two of the style frame images I proved in the pitch.
Crop from a book cover I recently did.
