Screen printed winter poster
Proud to be an Atlas mountain myself, I was happy to be asked to produce the promo poster for the soon to be released album E VOLO LOVE. The Poster will be produced as a three colour screenprint by my studio buddy Loligo and will be available from Domino records.
Crop from a book cover I recently did.
Exhibition on the 31st of January, featuring Illustrators and printmakers. Jon Mcnaught, Jamie Lewis, Chloe Emiabata, Ellie Foreman Peck, Nadia Chilabi and Emma Peacock.
A quick editorial illustration for the Sunday Times. In the process of creating the final artwork I strayed from the colour palette I had suggested in the rough stage. So in the end I provided two colour ways to choose from.
Over the summer I was asked to design some of the covers for Picador's 40th anniversary series. The Brief was that every cover was to be designed only in solid black and white. Certain areas of the cover are printed in black ink and other areas are a glossy black foil. The process of the foil slightly de-bossing the paper and creating reflective area's creates shifts in tone and texture on the finished book. Personally I was hoping for a classic typeface to run throughout the series to tie it all together, but this wasn't the case and I feel that some suffer from this like the cover for "Dirt Music".
Having not updated my blog in a good while i have decided to start again. My updates will be a combination of current Working processes, Sketches and Work that inspires me. I hope you enjoy it.
