Well shit
I miss when I could get reassured :/
How very depressing that Neil Gaiman had trended not even a tiny bit for demonstrating what a fucking horrific person he is.
As a reminder, he's suing Caroline Wallner, one of his accusers, for breaking her NDA. Not for libel. He's saying she shouldn't have told anyone about it, not that she lied.
He doesn't need the money. He's risking the Streisand effect. He is punishing Caroline, he's trying to intimidate other victims who have signed NDAs to scare them into continued silence.
He is no friend to women, to the LGBTQIA+ community, to anyone quite frankly unless he thinks they are of value to him.
Share the story. Put it on Facebook and bluesky and whatever else you're on. Make it clear what a horrifying person he is. Tell your friends. He's paying Edendale a fortune to try and cover this up. Make this hard for him. Make it cost him money.

Good morning all! I’ve been up since 6:15am, and I’ve got a thing I’ve been meaning to share since National Coming Out Day, so I’m gonna do it now while I’m not awake enough to care about this being “perfect.” So we all know I’m bisexual, right, and how I thought I was straight until I was 21 doing a production of Three Musketeers? Well, over the past year, I’ve come to realize that I’m also not as cis as I thought I was all my life! I’m genderfae! And my pronouns are fae/faer! What does that mean for me? It means that I fluctuate between many genders, but all of those genders are at least vaguely feminine. (Fun fact: woman is one of them! But it’s not the only one, it’s very tied to my race, and I feel so much more myself when I call myself genderfae) It also means that I do not want to be referred to as a girl or a lady, though other gendered terms such as daughter, sister, aunt are fine. Woman is sometimes ok, but I really only like it when my Blackness is also being talked about, and when other Black femmes are doing the talking. I’ve attached a picture of the genderfae flag and a pronoun worksheet for anyone that wants to practice, because I know I had to practice my own dang pronouns, so I want to help other people do the same thing! To recap! Gender identity: genderfae Pronouns: fae/faer Good descriptors: person, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, girlfriend, fae Personally painful descriptors: girl, woman, lady Love you all 💚💛🤍💕💜 #genderfae #nationalcomingoutday #latepost #rightontimepost https://www.instagram.com/p/CVqNTFyFoPx/?utm_medium=tumblr
I am extremely normal about everything happening in this photo, and EVEN MORE NORMAL about Michael Sheen’s expression

It is a dark time for the Rebellion. Although the Virus has been reveled for the Death Star it truly is, Federal forces have blown off its scientists’ warnings and are attempting to drive its workers out into the galaxy unprotected. In an attempt to evade the Virus, the non essential workers secrete themselves in their homes, only emerging for sustenance and light from the solo sun. They can only hope they will not be forced out of hiding too soon, into the clutches of the dreaded Virus... #maythe4thbewithyou https://www.instagram.com/p/B_wYifKDeOK/?igshid=zqbzj8m1xt43
Not a fix it, but a promise. Promises scare me, but I’m learning to trust them, all the same.
I'll Wait - rated T, ~4500 words
We're all shattered. Herewith my offering.
Summary: They spent centuries talking past each other and kept it up right to the last minute. They won't find their way back to one another in one glib resolution.
But we know it's not over. With Heaven and Earth dividing them, there's time to consider all the unsaid things.
And there's still an angel in the bookshop.
The day was dark and the streetlamps were already blinking fitfully on and then off again, the rain blowing in a cutting breeze that slipped in the door as the woman left; but there he was, the vivid hair dulled by dampness, a long lock plastered to his forehead.
They crossed Whickber Street in three strides, carrying the tartan umbrella that had leant against the hat-stand for months.
“I saw you standing here. It is raining and very cold. I wish you to know that you are always welcome in the shop whether or not Mr. Fell is present. May I offer you a cup of tea?”
He looked past her toward the shopfront. “No,” he said.
“Then please, take this umbrella – you are becoming very wet –”
“Sod off,” he said.
