you have to be extremely performative to be liked by everyone and its more fun to be somewhat hated

every time something hurts my feelings it’s immediately filed away in my brain to be thought about for the following ten years

taylor’s talent in songwriting has ruined my expectations/reality with songwriting like… she’s written some of her best stuff all by herself and then i’ll hear a song that’s kinda good and it has like 5 writers on it and it’s like… you needed 5 people to come up with these mediocre lyrics? when taylor swift thought of “my heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue, all’s well that ends well to end up with you”, “I’ll watch your life in pictures like I used to watch you sleep and I feel you forget me like I used to feel you breathe”, “long were the nights when my days once revolved around you” and so much more… just by herself?? y’all arent even trying…
