You should be proud of yourself because you have jumped into deep and unknown territory on a quest to explore who you are. It’s a journey we, sadly, often start alone. We feel lost. We are in the dark, with no one to guide us. On this quest, we face many challenges. We have to fight self-doubt, denial, fear, society, and monsters. It’s scary. Every day we have to find the strength to take a step closer to accepting ourselves in a world where many discourage us not to. It’s one heck of a quest. The journey you are on takes courage. And a lot of it. It’s hard. And that’s why I don’t want you to think that you need to be out to be proud. For real, please take a moment to realize this. So, India is dying.

Look, I know a good number of you are from the US and things aren't amazing there either, but my country is literally on the brink of collapse. So I'd love it if we could talk about that for a minute.

A second COVID wave has taken out the healthcare system. There are no more hospital beds. There's an oxygen shortage. There's a critical vaccine shortage. The Central Government has thrown its hands up and is passing the baton to the State Governments to do what they can.

There are over 16 million covid cases. A record 330,000 new cases reported yesterday - comparable to the US at its peak. 187,000 dead as of today.

There is no plan.

Mass cremations are taking place. The cremation grounds are running day and night and they are short on wood. People are watching their loved ones die while waiting for a hospital bed, and then they're unable to give them the proper burial rights.

Hospitals are overwhelmed. Patients are being confined, two to a bed. They're the lucky ones.

We are on the verge of people dying in the streets.

This is the second-most populous country in the world. The largest democracy. A country that encapsulates over 15,000 years of recorded human history and has endured everything from famine to invasion to colonisation.

We might be at the end. This might be the thing that does us in.

People are dying.

People are dying and there is no plan.

More good news? Variants are popping up. A double mutation strain has shown up. It is resistant to current vaccines. This will not go away. This is the devastation they warned of when the anti-maskers were out protesting the minor inconvenience of covering their face in public.

My country is on the verge of an emergency state. Our government has failed us. This is as dire a situation as it ever could be.

Look. I don't do much with my life. I write fics, some of you have read them and that's pretty much it. I spend my days with my head in the clouds because that's where I like to be.

But two days ago, my grandmother tested positive, had to be taken to hospital and the ambulance caught fire.

She barely made it to the urgent care she needs.

So, here I am, using whatever meager platform I have to cobble this request together. Because I have to do something.

From what I gathered of literally just trending posts and notes:

I see people confused and honestly same lmao Have this compilation of info I found with way too much spelling and grammar mistakes. The situation first happened on tiktok, they were already trashed there and from what I understand there are tiktoks explaining the past of the band and the members.

Tramp Stamps are (were?) a punk band. Apparently that's what they said their gender of music is, but when you listen to the songs it doesn't fit that much into that category. Anyways, it's formed by 3 girls. One is an alleged trump supporter (off to a bad start) the other one is married to a white man (important, will be mentioned in the future), and I got nothing from the third one.

Things wrong with them:

Industry Plant: Just to clarify, from what I read really no body is angry just cause they're that, literally couldn't care less. Many big singers and bands people love here are industry plants. The issue is how bad the music is, and how fake their messaging was. All their songs come off as a #GirlBoss type of white feminism (fake feminism) and fake activism (for more info go to point 4)

They called thenselves a "Tumblr" girl: They probably thought tumblr was an aesthetic, and they took the 2010 tumblr aesthetic which- not to be that person but if you're making a band and going to call yourself a "tumblr" girl, at least do a reaserch into what is tumblr 2021. So people got angry cause you can't call yourself tumblr girl when you literally don't even have a blog.

Trump supporter One member is allegedly a trump supporter. That's it. Ew.

False Activism: From what I read, they took real issues like racism, misogyny, sexism, and exclusion of lgbt+ people to make songs. It would have been great if the messaging wouldn't have been "Women better", "Down with men" (in the literal way), "Hate straight people" (again, in the literal way) (Remember one of the members is married to a white straight men? Yeah, one of their songs say "down with white straight men" like sis-). I would like to believe they're misguided but at the same time why would you make a song like that. They posted: "We get our shit from Dollskill 💕" : For anyone that doesn't know, Dollskill actively defended police and police brutality during the BLM protests. They've also made a really racist merch saying "Goth is white" like- Idc about your take on this, goth and alt culture in general has already a big issue with racism and excluding BIPOC from it. Alt also includes BIPOC y'all like it or not. Great youtube video explaining better and more of the wrong doings of Dollskill.

Their insta post: I didn't read it, lmao. I just read sporadic screenshots.

In one of the recent posts they're saying "how sexist of you to think we're an industry plant just because we're 3 women" I'd like to clarify, absolutely no body is saying it's an industry plant because of them being women, for more info go to point 1.

They also took issue with people asking/saying one of the band mates is a lesbian. There shouldn't be anything wrong with being a lesbian, yet how they worded it made it seem as something bad (in the same breath they said (Sorry for caps) "SHE'S GAY" like what you angry for tf). If someone gets your sexuality wrong, you correct them, don't take issue with the sexuality. Actualization: Allegedly (please don't sue me) the member that declared herself as gay has said before that she's actually not. She, allegedly, said she was gay to get out of a lawsuit? Legal issue- for being homophobic.

They also claimed ageism, no matter your take on it, I should clarify they're wrong (once again). Nobody is angry that one of the members is 29, absolutely no body said anything about their age. The only time the age was mentioned was when people were calling her out for having a song about "down with white straight men" while married to one. Also!! Just in case, no body is angry that she's married to a white guy, for clarification go to point 4.
