Rhymesona designing!

i decided I wanted to try and make a sona for myself! I'm still figuring out the design, but my main idea is they're a cat hybrid & a ghost.

I also want to incorporate flowers in their design, but I haven't quite figured out how I want to do that.

Another idea I'm playing with is them having an artificial/mechanical body that she can posess, that would look somewhat different from their ghost form. & I might also give them a regular living form as well. I'll want to experiment more to differentiate them all visually

let me know if there's any other content warning tags i should add! I think this is the only time i've drawn these two, I mainly drew this because i found a cool blue pen i wanted to play around with, but they're a ghost and a zombie who are friends! The zombie wraps a scarf around her neck to pass as human so she can buy things for her and the ghost. I like thinking about what their story could be if i extended it. I think it'd have a mix of light hearted tone and darker themes. Maybe they'd work to solve their murders, maybe it'd just explore what their undeath is like for them. They'd fall in love i think. Also wow this photo is not good. That is a constant struggle of being a traditional artist trying to post my stuff online, I take photos with my phone and i am not very good at it, it is so hard to get good lighting that isn't too yellow and doesn't wash out the lines and doesn't cast the shadow of my phone across the paper!! And also i have to keep my phone still and focus so the lines aren't blurry

📆 First fandom you did fanart for/first fanart?

I've been drawing characters from shows and movies since i could hold a crayon, but I believe that the first one I really considered fanart at the time was this drawing of the player character of Hollow Knight, whom i call Bug Knight

I then drew like 100 more hollow knight fanarts in a fairly short amount of time(a couple weeks or months) before I realized that I could also draw fanart of other things I liked, such as the games Pyre and Indivisible

I heard it was her birthday, and suddenly I knew what I was going to do today :D

This took around 4 hours to make, and was probably the most fun I've had using acrylic paints!
