Haikyuu boy headcanons: homework edition pt. 2
Asahi— studies the week before exams and the two nights before a test. Stresses himself out for no reason. Once lost an assignment and got an anxiety attack because he thought it would drop his grade for the rest of the year (it was in Suga’s bag because Asahi left it at Suga’s place the day before).
Nishinoya— only understands when explained to him by Ennoshita. Once tried to write a test on -27 hours of sleep and got 96%, but has been banned from doing so ever since.
Tsukishima— does his homework with zero griping or complaints unless he’s forced to do it with Hinata and Kageyama. Then he either never shuts up about how much he hates it or completely ignores the two until Yamaguchi kicks him hard enough.
Yamaguchi— likes homework. Actually likes it. Actually likes studying and learning new things. However he sleeps late because of this so Tsukishima makes him sleep over so he can make him quit studying earlier in the night.
Yahaba— super selective about what homework he likes to do. Will give his language and arts homework his 100%. Hates physics and maths. Good enough at his other two sciences that he can tutor everyone else in his grade.
Kyoutani— good at things with logic, so base level chemistry, math, physics, bio. Really into things with rules, ironically. Unfortunately hangs out at the local shelter with his bag unchecked and has had to tell teachers that dogs literally ate the homework out of his bag.
Shirabu— studies day and night and enjoys it to some extent. Hates his current level of biology so much. Hands in all his homework in on time and is honestly kind of a tryhard. Crashes out after tests only to find out that he did as well as everyone expected him to.
Taichi— doesn’t study unless Shirabu nags him to, but usually doesn’t process a thing. Good enough to get by without trying, and doesn’t try 90% of the time. Says he doesn’t care about his grades but wants them to be or above 80%.
Yaku— enjoys studying sciences but HATES liberal arts. Doesn’t understand the concept of studying art or history beyond techniques for painting or warfare. Has beef with psychology majors and has otherwise normal homework habits.
Lev— “wait, we had homework?!”
Tendou Week is a week-long event celebrating our beloved Tendou Satori from May 18-24, accepting fanfics, fanart, and other fannish content. Let's show our love for him!
You can find the interest check form here.
Hope to see everyone there!
we ain't so back but here is chapter 3 of How NOT To Make Your Kouhai Jealous!
Haikyuu boy headcanons: homework edition
Hinata— doesn’t do it. Tries and fails when told to. The only subject he doesn’t fail regularly is home ec and that’s cause his home life is one big home ec class.
Kageyama— tries so hard. Miwa used to sit with him to do it when they were younger and she taught him in volleyball terms so he’d pass. Unfortunately, once she left, so did his homework comprehension skills.
Daichi— very diligent and can understand most of his work. Once tried to cheat off of Suga for a math test in first year only to see that Suga had finished and was napping at his desk.
Suga— if the teacher isn’t collecting it, he doesn’t do it. Doesn’t study unless it’s the night before the test and he’s helplessly lost. The homework that he does do is either terribly wrong or 100% correct.
Oikawa— does all his homework and studies on Mondays when they don’t have practice. Isn’t bothered about his grades but likes how pretty 94s look on the paper.
Iwaizumi— studies, but isn’t so great on homework. Does it without complaint but is usually confused until someone (usually Oikawa) explains it to him. Hands in stuff late sometimes but the teachers don’t mind.
Ushijima— doesn’t know that not doing his homework is an option, so does all of it. Studies as needed.
Tendou— does all the homework but puts barely any effort into it. Studies when Ushijima studies. Gets a mix of As and Bs depending on how good he is at the subject naturally.
Semi— doesn’t study, but does all his homework and that’s enough studying for him. Doesn’t like people flaunting their high grades or worrying over getting 90s instead of 86s.
Kita— does all his homework and revises the subjects that don’t have homework every day. Studies more the night before a test. Consistently achieves high 90s but it’s expected so he doesn’t show it off.
Atsumu— so terrible at studying but manages to scrape by with A minuses. Everyone hates him in group projects because he has the leader vibe but hates doing the actual project.
Osamu— daydreams about food in class and has Suna give him the notes afterwards. Does his homework to make up for the lack of paying attention in class.
Kuroo— does his homework with Kenma and understands the class. If he doesn’t understand, he asks the teacher either during the lesson or after the period. Straight As.
Kenma— hates homework. Hates tests. Hates projects. Would rather die. Only does the ones that get marked and studies once in a blue moon or when Kuroo takes his PSP away from him.
Bokuto— surprisingly good with his homework habits other than the fact that he keeps losing the homework itself. Otherwise a good student.
Akaashi— schedules his crashouts around volleyball practice and his outings with Bokuto. Worries about grades sometimes, but then has periods of “why even give a shit”, then immediately regrets it the night before a project is due and then repeats the cycle.
I totally forgot I had this chapter done lmao. So before I fuck off for a bit enjoy the 3rd Chapter of my SemiShira fic, "Delusions of Grandeur."
Haikyuu boy headcanons: miscellaneous edition
Shirabu bites
Hinata will eat anything as long as he can chew it
Suga has very detailed murder plans for the entire Shiratorizawa and Seijoh team
Suga is friends with Tendou and Iwaizumi
The only reason Iwaizumi can cook is because he and Oikawa were left home for a long weekend when they were seven and Oikawa got sick so he learned how to make soup
Daichi learns how to pole dance in college
Kuroo dances like an old man
Kenma hisses at sunlight like he’s allergic to it
Kageyama cuts his own hair when he’s grown to feel closer to his sister
Oikawa feels angry every time he eats milk bread because he usually accompanies it with milk and he associates milk with Kageyama
Semi is a rich kid
Ushijima is an even richer kid and didn’t understand that not all people had printers in their house until he was 14
Tendou is also a rich kid but learned how to read prices by going shopping with his maid when he was little and going to the baking aisle for ingredients
Kita sings well but only knows old Japanese songs and English country songs
Sakusa sprayed Atsumu with disinfectant after signing on the jackals because he tried to hug him
Haikyuu boy headcanons: “moving out” edition
Hinata— surprisingly self sufficient. Cooks and cleans as easy as if it were breathing. Once he gets a schedule up, he’s on fire and no one can stop him. Is usually the host for smaller gatherings with his friends.
Kageyama— cannot cook to save his life. Calls Suga for help the first night in realizing he’s got no food and unfortunately Suga can’t cook either so he brings Daichi along, and Kageyama spends his first night with his friends. Hinata pouts when he finds out there was a party and he wasn’t invited.
Daichi— moves out the first chance he gets and into an apartment close to his university with Suga and starts up this roommates to lovers sort of deal. Cooks like nobody’s business. Sucks at laundry. First time he tried, he made all of his and Suga’s white shirts pink.
Suga— loves cooking. Everyone else does not love Suga cooking. Calls Daichi his “saviour” for knowing how to follow a recipe. Otherwise, he’s pretty eager to move out of his parents’ house and house hunted with Daichi for months before they settled on this one.
Oikawa— didn’t want to move out but was convinced once Iwaizumi told him that technically his parents couldn’t limit his volleyball hours anymore (a scam, since it was Iwaizumi limiting his volleyball hours now). Cleans to self soothe and gets scolded for it. Only knows how to operate a rice cooker.
Iwaizumi— didn’t necessarily want to move out but decided that he had to because he was an adult now and should experience new things anyway. Moved in with Oikawa specifically to monitor his behaviour and make sure he didn’t overwork himself or die of starvation. Totally not because they were best friends.
Ushijima— was already half moved out because of the Shiratorizawa dorms, so his own apartment seemed the natural next step. His family got him one and told him that once he gets stable footing, he’d be paying them back. Hosts gatherings at his place because it’s big enough but he’s not really the host. Usually it’s either Tendou or Semi.
Tendou— asked Ushijima whether he wanted to live together once they graduated when they started second year, but didn’t expect him to remember and go through with it. Bakes at disgusting hours in the morning. Sleeps during the day. Doesn’t do laundry.
Semi— lives alone in a studio apartment paid for by his dad. Self sufficient enough to survive but spends 90% of his time at Ushijima and Tendou’s place anyway. Eats their food. Though he does disappear into hyperfixation phases where he doesn’t emerge from his apartment for days at a time because he’s writing songs.
Kita— doesn’t move out of his house… ever. Lives at home for uni, lives at home when he works because his work is at home. Cooks and cleans on the daily schedule he made when he was ten years old and Does Not Deviate. Goes out once a week with his grandma for groceries.
Atsumu— cries when Osamu says he’s moving before realizing that he would be moving because of volleyball anyway. Takes surprisingly good care of himself because he “has to be at his best to do his best”. Frequents Onigiri Miya and crashes on Osamu’s couch three days out of the week.
Osamu— lives above the first Onigiri Miya location and obviously cooks for himself and Atsumu. Makes Atsumu do his laundry in exchange for free food. Calls their mother once a week and sends Suna embarrassing photos of Atsumu while he’s asleep.
Kuroo— moves out for college into a dorm for his freshman year but into an apartment with Kenma once Kenma graduates. Calls himself the house husband even though Kenma’s the one sitting at home all day and juggles his chemistry homework with making sure his best friend doesn’t starve.
Kenma— did not want to move out at first but once his company expanded he realized he needed his own space. Went house hunting with Suga after Suga’s HGTV phase and ended up picking the first one they went to. Forgets to eat so Kuroo makes him finish dinner before he gets to go back to work.
Bokuto— moves into MSBY dorms when he gets signed. Gets mopey within the week. Goes back to Tokyo to visit Akaashi whenever he gets the chance and does this so often that Akaashi’s parents just gave him a key and told him to go nuts.
Akaashi— lives at home during college but moves in with Bokuto once he graduates. Does majority of the disaster management in the house and persuades Bokuto not to try making soufflé at 2am. He doesn’t do any of the cooking and cleaning because Bokuto says that he’s busy enough and “needs to practice for when Agaashee becomes a famous busy author”.
Kagehina Karaoke date!! But also..
My boy what are you doing...
Haikyuu boys headcanons because I said so: art vs theatre vs band kid edition
Hinata— can’t read music and can’t draw but he would have an absolute BLAST doing either. I’d stick him in theatre mostly because he’s loud but dedicated and that’s like 90% of us.
Kageyama— theatre also, but because his sister liked to put him in costumes as a kid and he just kinda went with it and now he has no qualms putting on a shitty wig for the sake of an in-class play.
Daichi— band kid, though he’s on bells and is often caught staring off into the distance more than he plays and gets scolded for it a LOT. Alternatively, he could also be the stage manager and get 17937 headaches from his crew.
Suga— tech theatre kid. Maybe assistant stage manager if Daichi’s the SM. I could also see him being a chaotic art kid with the other setters, the kind that adopts all of his underclassmen and makes them call him “dad” and feeds them.
Oikawa— theatre kid (yes it seems like I’m making them all theatre kids) because he’s loud and dramatic as shit and also he’s like me and I’m one of them so. He assistant directs and designs costumes and is also a part time art kid.
Iwaizumi— art, but in the quiet crowd instead of the chaotic crowd. Would be the type to slap Oikawa to shut up. ‘Adopts’ Kindaichi, Kageyama, and Kyoutani after he feeds them once and they latch onto him.
Ushijima— band. He’s rich. He’s a band kid. I could see him also being in tech theatre OR as the lead of the musical because he can sing. He CAN. He just isn’t that good at it but boy is he a looker and the theatre department is short on cash so if that’s what it takes to get the audience through the door, the director doesn’t see a problem with it.
Tendou— art kid. Would draw on you. Would bite you. Moonlights as the set designer.
Semi— band kind all the way (duh) but if he auditioned for a musical they wouldn’t turn him down either. Unfortunately he doesn’t try.
Kita— none, he’d just go home. An argument could be made for art but ONLY if it was hand carving.
Aran— quiet band kid, plays the tenor sax, 57 people have a crush on him but he’s only focused on the guy who sits in front of him in his pre-calc class.
Atsumu— theatre kid. Theatre kid. His hair would reflect the light and blind whoever’s looking at him and his only response would be that he was a star. Tried to quit theatre before but was threatened by everyone to stay or else.
Osamu— none of them, but he would run a cooking club that closes a year after his graduation.
Futakuchi— band kid because he’s annoying as fuck but still pretty as hell and also he’s so pissy 99% of the time. He only picked band because he hated art homework and didn’t want to have people look at him acting on a stage. Claimed it was “too much for his ego”.
Aone— band kid with futakuchi but he plays the piano and doesn’t know what to do when there isn’t a piano part to play. He helps make costumes and props for the drama department.
Kuroo— tech theatre kid that manages the cast and crew. Makes way too many bad jokes and has earned himself the title “father of the opera” because he went on a rant about how Raul could’ve just avoided all of that if he didn’t kidnap Christine. Also because he’s a huge ass nerd.
Kenma— tech theatre, light and sound ops. Is only there because Kuroo is there.
Bokuto— chaotic art kid. He would. He’d be so good at being chaotic. His art… not so much.
Akaashi— either a theatre management kid or a section leader band kid. Either way he’s stressed as hell and overwhelmed 99% of the time.
Crack art on main? Why I’d never—
I love this panel I wanted to redraw it in my style :)
happy belated birthday aran!! the goat of goats
reblog if you’re okay with people writing fanfics of your fanfics and/or fanfics inspired by your fanfics
it’s unfortunate that (some) people in fandom spaces are starting to get too comfortable complaining and being rude to writers and artists who create contents they personally don’t like (“why are you making this character a top when he’s obviously a bottom? omg do you even understand his character?” “I’m so sick of seeing fan art and fanfic where this character is portrayed as a sadist when he’s actually misunderstood in my opinions, therefore anyone who disagrees with me is wrong and should be shamed” just to name a few I’ve seen) instead of curating their own fandom experiences by engaging only with contents they do like.
you want more fics where (x) is written in this specific way? either write one yourself or politely expressing your opinion about how you hope there will be more fics where (x) is written in this specific way instead of making fandom a toxic place by being rude to writers and artists who dare make contents that are not to your Personal Liking.
if the universe does not revolve around you, strangers and fandom spaces don’t have to cater exclusively to your personal preferences either.
to all my beloved writers and artists, write whatever you want, draw whatever you want. portray that character in whichever way you want to portray. I hope you have fun doing what you love. don’t let anybody tell you what you can or can’t do with the blorbo. go wild. I will always support you
I just finished my bio assignment and now you all shall be subjected to its utter bullshittery in all of its glory.
Music credit to: Yuh Baek I found this music on yt :p

I hope yall enjoy!
I probably wouldnt be so mad about AI if it, you know, actually worked and was AI. But instead it just feels like I'm Michael trying to get Eleanor Shellstrop's file.
Tech Company: I have a new AI program for you :)
Me: is it actually an AI program or does it generate random pixel colours based on the most likely pattern to occur?
TC: it is an actual AI program. It does not generate based on pixel patterns.
Me: is it an actual AI program, or is it just copying artwork stolen without consent based off of keywords someone has applied to those artworks?
TC: it does not steal artwork and use it to replicate images based off keywords. It is an AI program.
Me: now do you have *artificial intelligence* or are you holding an image generator that cant actually think or reason at all?
TC: i do not have an image generator. I have real AI capable of making real and genuinely unique new images like any living person.
Me: amazing, let me check it out.
TC: Here!
TC: *drops an image generator*
Me: ...
Me: thanks.
Semi: hey, I’m curious, what did you get on the entrance exam?
Tendou: what did I get? Uhh… I think is was the lowest passing score
Semi: really?
Tendou: I think yeah? Not entirely sure
Semi: how’d you study for it?
Tendou: bold of you to assume I studied
Semi: ….what?
Tendou: i didn’t study at all for the entrance exam
Semi: THEN HOW DID YOU GET A PASSING SCORE?
Tendou: easy, I guessed
Semi: THATS IT!?
Tendou; intuition comes in handy when it’s a multiple choice test
Semi: and the stuff that wasn’t multiple choice?
Tendou: common sense
Semi: unbelievable— Ushiwaka are you hearing this?
Ushijima: yes, very proud of you Satori
Semi: YOUR NOT HELPING!
RAHHHHH GO HAYATO GOOOOOO
rah
go hayato goooo
Same vibes

Hey fam I’m horrendously late coming back to the party but How You Get The Guy and A Guide On How NOT To Make Your Kouhai Jealous are up now for day 5 and 6 of semishira week!! Please enjoyyyy I slaved away on these on my flight :))
I think I’m cursed
I dont think Iwaoi was "love at first sight" per se, but I do think Iwaizumi met Oikawa, and within a few days realized he would, eventually, fall in love with him.
I think when they reached middle school, Iwaizumi sat down beside Oikawa in their class on the first day and looked at him, and really looked, and thought: yeah. He's gonna get me one day.
And when Oikawa has his first middle school girlfriend, Iwaizumi isn't jealous at all. No crush, no secret love, he couldnt care less. But he thinks: shit. If I fall in love with him now, it's going to hurt.
But he doesnt. And they continue to grow up together. And people tease him, ask him if he thinks any girls are cute or if he's ever going to get a girlfriend and he plays it off as gross and says no because actually, im going to fall in love with Oikawa, sounds a little weird.
And the longer it takes the more confused Iwaizumi gets. Like he knows, one day, he's going to feel it. He knows it'll happen as sure as he knows which direction the sun rises, but he's also happy just being his best friend.
And then one day, finally, one day, at the beginning of their third year, Oikawa laughs and leans in a little too close as he's teasing him, and Iwaizumi's heart does a heavy thump in his chest and he just goes.
Ah. There it is. I was waiting for you.
And so there, in that exact moment, when his heart had finally caught up with what his soul had known on the spot, he asks if Oikawa has any plans that evening, and asks him out.
And Oikawa has the audacity to be surprised.
…….. I work fast…?
I bet Ushijima has an incredibly good sense of direction and almost never gets lost but he also uses the sun to identify which direction he needs to go and this would be a cool party trick except for some reason he defaults to this for navigation regardless of context.
The team, heading through town to try a new lunch spot:
Leon: you know this is taking longer than I thought... We might be going the wrong way.
Ushijima, looking up at the sky:
Tendou: No.
Ushijima, looking down to pull out his phone to check a map:
shiratorizawa
