Some of those stars don't exist,
She whispers, the galaxy in her eyes.
Yet they still shine so bright.
Do you think, she asks, that we'll shine like that when we don't exist?
You already do, I think.
And how, she murmurs, will we stay up in the sky for so long?
You already have, I breathe.
Will they remember us for who we are? She murmurs.
I will, I vow.
Or will they remember us for what we did? She sighs.
I do, I gasp.
No matter, she says, turning away from the sky. They're just stars, after all.
And you shine the brightest, I add.
The girl with the galaxy eyes smiles at me.
I am frightened by the way I love her, just as I am frightened by the vast emptiness of space.
But space is a curious thing. There is more to explore each day. And nobody ever discovered stars by being too afraid to look up.
Some of those stars don't exist, she whispers.
And neither will the end of my love for you, I answer.
You know what the solution is? Use a Hozier lyric. Too much work? I made a generator that will summon one for you.
It works surprisingly well as a prompt generator, as well.
We might actually have content soon! What a concept!
actually kinda funny to me that fanfiction is known as a hobby for cringe 13 year olds because personally over half of the fanfic authors i know are married 30 year olds with mediocre admin jobs they attend to inbetween posting chapters of their latest gay sex epic adventure
Thank you guys ❤️
here’s to the readers who stay up past midnight reading just one more chapter
here’s to the readers who like one fic - so they go through our archive and read everything else
here’s to the readers who are still learning the language of the fic they’re reading, but they’re making it through anyhow
here’s to the readers who are too shy to tell us how much they love our story, so they just tell all of their friends about it instead
here’s to the readers who kudos - and then comment “kudos” when they can’t do it again
here’s to the readers who make rec lists or run fic reccing blogs
here’s to the readers who give out prompts and ask for metas and suggest ideas of things they’d love to see
here’s to the readers who hide their phones so that no one sees what they’re reading, but omg this fic is just so good!
here’s to the readers who keysmash, reaction gif, tag, comment, quote us back to us, and otherwise let us know that they loved our work
here’s to the readers
without you, we don’t exist

May I give you a v cliche request of amnesia Vi x (potentially guilty) Sevika! Maybe Vi doesn't remember her at all or she remembers her as the cool fighter in town (that maybe she had a crush on?)
Thanks for doing asks this made my day!
Vi wakes up with a headache.
A really, really bad headache. She blinks up at the ceiling that she absolutely did not recognize, then shifts to sit up.
“Woah, woah, okay. Good morning, please sit back.”
Vi blinks, looking down at the big hand on her arm, then squints up at the person in front of her. Her vision swims for a moment before it settles, and she’s staring at the hottest woman she’s ever laid eyes on. Her eyes widen.
“Woah,” she says, headache forgotten. “Hey there.”
The woman in front of her (beautiful and strong and wow that jawline) frowns slightly. “Hey,” she says uncertainly, and Vi wants to find the answer to her confusion so she stops frowning. Nobody this pretty should be frowning. “You, uh. You feeling okay?”
“What’s your name?” Vi asks instead, and there’s a snort behind her. She twists to see a skinny, pale, short blue haired girl with her arms crossed over her chest. The girl cocks her hip out a bit, raising an eyebrow at Vi.
“She’s fucked. You scrambled her brains.” Blue hair says, and Vi blinks.
“I did not,” the goddess who had her hand on Vi’s arm still sounded pained. Vi looks back, alarmed. “We were - she asked to spar, okay?”
“That doesn’t mean you knock the rest of her brain power from her, Sevika. She’s not working with much.” blue hair says again, and Vi blinks.
“You hit me?” She asks this angel who was apparently named Sevika.
Sevika winces. “I - yes. I’m sorry. You, uh… you don’t remember?”
Vi hums thoughtfully, looking down at the hand on her arm. “No. But you can hit me again, I think. Wow. You can do a lot to me, with those hands.”
The blue haired girl gags, but Sevika blushes, and Vi can’t help the grin that pulls at her lips.
“Vi,” Sevika says, and Vi glows with the realization that this absolute walking perfection knew her name.
“Fuck. Woah. You have a wife? You need a wife? I’ll be your wife. You can hit me again. Say my name,” Vi holds onto that big hand, leaning forward a little bit. Sevika smells like motor oil and something warm, and Vi feels dizzy suddenly.
“I have a wife,” Sevika blinks, and - oh no.
“Is she - did you make her cry?” Blue hair squawks.
Sevika makes a soft noise, panicked, then shifts closer to cup Vi’s cheek. “Hey,” a calloused thumb gently brushes under her eye, catching her tears. “Wow. I really did knock the wits out of you, huh?”
Vi hiccups. “It’s not fair, how did someone else make you their wife first…”
Sevika’s brown eyes warm a little. The chuckle that rumbles from her makes Vi shiver. “Silly,” she murmurs, low enough that Vi feels something in her settle. “You are my wife.”
“Oh,” Vi hiccups, looking down when those big fingers lace their hands together. Her eyes catch on matching rings, two silver bands engraved with a pretty design, and she exhales shakily.
“See?” Sevika asks, and her smile is small and private, her gaze fond. “C’mon, lay down. You need to rest.”
“Yeah,” Vi breathes, letting Sevika help her lay down. Her temples pulse painfully and she grunts softly, settling in. “Will you stay?”
Sevika hums, settling to sit beside her on the bed, tucking Vi against a thick, muscular thigh. Vi throws subtlety to the wind and presses her face right against it, a hand splaying across the top so she can just hold. This was her wife.
“Rest, Violet.” Sevika murmurs, resting a warm hand against the back of her neck.
Vi settles in, warm and happy and married to the prettiest woman in all of the undercity.

Thank you for requesting!! I forgot how fun requests were, more to come!! <3
Hey guys. I was informed today by my mom that she’s been thinking about kicking me out on my eighteenth birthday. My birthday is in just about three months, and while I do have a job, it pays hardly anything with the amount of hours I’m given. Each paycheck is just over $100 USD, and my parents are forcing me to pay them back for textbooks and making me pay for gas to get to school.
I don’t have a car, and I can’t drive yet, so I’m pretty much stuck in my house with no means of transportation and no way to get out. On top of this, I’m a college student and I have been diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and major depression. I take medication for this, and they just informed me that I’m going to have to start paying for my medication and my weekly therapy appointments.
I really hate asking for money. So to reconcile for this, I promise that anyone who pays about $10 USD on either my Ko-fi or PayPal, I’ll write a drabble of whatever that person wants, from about 1k to 2k words.
Please don’t feel obligated to give, but it would mean the world to me if you guys could help. Even a little bit helps.
My goal is to move to Canada to be with my girlfriend - the deadline was two years, but now it looks like it might be sooner than that - and moving from California all the way to Ontario is going to be a feat in itself.
Even if you can’t give, a signal boost would be amazing. Thank you so much for all your love and support.

Thank you!
there’s no better feeling than getting fucked up by an author over and over as you make your way through their ao3 fic list
