I genuinely don’t think footballers realise how big of an impact they can have on fans, especially the younger fans by openly supporting lgbtq+, like i look around now and we have all these players who support us, whereas ten/fifteen years ago we had next to nobody and it just warms my heart so much; like kids who like football will grow up knowing that it’s okay to be lgbt, even if their families etc say otherwise and it just makes me so happy

I watch the Euros for two very important reasons. First, for the football, (of course).
