I like to think Ouma thinks he’s doing sooooo well too. Like, he has this in the bag. They’re practically best friends already. Just a little bit of pushing and shuichi will be like putty in his hands, running off into the sunset together.
Meanwhile Shuichi’s latest worry is that he lost his eyeliner under the counter and can’t reach it.
shuichis complete lack of interest in oumas attempts at being mysterious and charming is so fuckin funny. ouma wants to be the phantom thief clown moriarty to shuichis sherlock holmes and will do and say all sorts of dumb embarrassing gay shit trying to be mysteriously endearing and will just get absolutely nothing in return. shuichi just goes "uh, ok?" and walks off to go hang out with the autistic girl who death threats her friends and the guy who wears slippers outside.

Today one of my uni friends drew and made a bunch of fandom charms for the friend group, and i got oumota so i guess im official clocked as the oumota shipper™️
i absolutely love maki designs with scars partially because i love realism but it's also funny imagining her in utdp trying to explain what's very clearly a stab wound scar away to kaede or someone by going "yeah those kids' scissors? not as dull as you might think" or something

Oumota post-game content where kaito has a super difficult relationship with his sidekicks bc they keep seeing him as a “hero” and expecting him to be all positive and energetic and he just can’t be like that anymore because of everything that happened so he naturally gets closer to kokichi bc he’s the only one who lets him be sad and gives him the time and space he needs to get better is so so so sad but honestly it also just hurts in all the right ways
I love Tenko, I love her soooo much. But someone please take her out that outfit. The tutu cropped top combination is horrendous.
Like I can accept she has bad taste in fashion, but in a comfort over function kind of way. Not… that…
Papercraft commission of Kokichi and Kaito from Danganronpa! I really need to play these games - the art looks super distinctive, these two sound like interesting foils for each other, and I want to see how the plot plays out!
kaito copes by impulse buying stuff that’s advertised to make you healthier whenever he’s going through it. it’s canon in my heart.
While I love heartfelt reunion (post game/vr au) oumota, I also like them having an immense awkward phase in the hospital in which they don't KNOW how to interact with each other anymore

I love to imagine that since Yong reminds Varian so much of his younger self, he pours so much care and support on nurturing Yong's curious mind in a way he never had in his own (prior to meeting Rapunzel). Showering the kid with encouragement, assurance and wisdom... to keep going.
And that because of this, Yong develops to embrace failure as part of the stepping stone process on getting something right. He is not afraid to admit when he's wrong, and is eager to learn where he can improve. He becomes braver, more sure of himself and grows to have stronger belief in himself and in his capacity as an inventor in his own merit.
He's the most open to all sorts of ideas, no matter how absurd it sounds on paper. He will be down to give it a shot and try to make it work cuz thats part of the fun. And thats something that's special about him in the group, he is the member that constantly reminds the team that learning for fun is just as important as taking their line of work seriously. And sometimes, the other three really needs that.
