I look at you and I wonder about myself. Would I knowingly give up my life for something?

You have to have a reason. Something you care about. Something that’s more important than anything.

If this world is real, although I will not insist that it is,

Then there should be a world where every character we pen is brought to life,

And yet another, wherein

We are only figments of their imagination.

A world where they see all the self-loathing and all the scars,

And they love it even when we cannot.

Another one wherein

They see our blind rage and our lashing out,

Where they are not blind to our faults,

And see they the scars we've inflicted on others in a mad, pained rampage

Where they see that our pain is no excuse, for the pain we cause others

Where they see us for the villains we've become

I do not know if this world is real, and I won't insist it to be so,

Therefore,

I do not know if the others can exist

But this thought alone, and memories of these lines,

That is enough for me to rein in my anger,

To love,

To let them fall in love with me.

PARADOX

It is as right and as wrong as hurting someone who hurt you.

That maybe pain is something people do understand the way they understand hunger, thirst and desperation.
