My dad is a die hard Trump supporter, I’m a bisexual poc and I’m not safe living here anymore

 I made a new tumblr because some of my family follows on my main. He’s been getting gradually worse since the election. He believes in all the conspiracy theories, Qanon, the “stolen” election, all of it. We’re not even in America anymore We moved to Canada in December because of his job. I’m 16, a liberal, and a closeted bisexual. Every time I try to share my views or disagree with him he screams at me, takes away my access to food, and lately he’s been becoming violent. He also keeps saying racist things about my mother/his ex wife and by extension, me (yes, his own kid). He want to move back if Trump makes his own political party, and I cannot go with him, I don’t feel safe. I have a friend who will let me move in with him and his roommate but I need money for rent. I’ve been looking for work but no luck yet. Any help is really really appreciated. Even if you can’t donate, please reblog and share. Thank you.

It’s been a month of Reggie tutoring you and you’re not sure how you have been able to keep it a secret this long. You were so sure your mother would have figured it out by now but apparently you’ve become a better liar. The sessions have gotten tolerable, more than just tolerable if you’re being honest. Instead of sitting across from each other, you sit next to each other, with either one leaning over the other’s shoulder. There are no awkward lapses in conversation anymore, and for once you are able to be fully yourself. You’ve found yourself looking forward to tutoring days. 

However, you are not looking forward to today. 

Today you get back the calculus test you took on Friday and you have been anxious all weekend because of it. You know you’ve been improving and you are actually understanding the concepts, but that is because Reggie is always there, guiding you through the work and ready to answer any of your questions. You sadly could not have Reggie sitting next to you, providing some much needed comfort during the test. 

You find yourself dreading your last period more than usual and once it arrives, you cross your fingers and close your eyes. When the paper gets set down in front of you, you take a deep breath and open them.
