Can you tell this dub was recorded in South Carolina, and in 1995?

in my experience if you're learning a language but you're worried about not pronouncing it right or sounding ridiculous in front of native speakers, I'm here to tell you that most people do not care. they don't care if you have an accent or if your mother tongue is peeking through, because in all honesty, everyone has an accent. it's unfair and frankly unrealistic to expect people to bear no remnants of their native tongue when speaking another. you've spent your entire life speaking your language, interacting with the world in it; your understanding of language is built on your native one and its natural sounds. no one can expect you to entirely shift how your brain processes words and sounds. most native speakers will just appreciate you trying at all. if it's comprehensible, if the gist of what you're saying gets across, then it's good enough. if you're trying, your accent is fine.
isn't it insane though how schizophrenic people are viewed as violent and dangerous by the majority of society when in reality schizophrenic people are nearly 14 times more likely to be on the receiving end of violence than to be the perpetrators...
âWeâre born alone and we die aloneâ you were born alone? Your mom wasnât there?
Did you know that there's another Chocolate Guy called Kris Zhaokai?
reminder for y'all that liking oral sex and being willing to perform it arenât requirements for being attracted to women.
you donât have to like giving oral to be a lesbian.
you donât have to like giving oral to be a multisexual who is attracted to women.
you donât even have to like giving oral to be a straight man.
you are not required to like oral sex or to perform oral sex in order to âproveâ that youâre âactuallyâ attracted to women. for that matter, you are not required to enjoy or to be willing to perform any sex act in order to âproveâ that youâre actually any sexuality or to âproveâ that youâre actually attracted to anyone.
itâs okay to not like sex at all, no matter what your orientation is. and itâs okay to just not like specific sex acts. you arenât obligated in any way, shape, or form to have any kind of sex you donât like for any reason and youâre especially not obligated to have sex you donât enjoy because there are people out here trying to say youâre not actually your sexuality if youâre not willing to have certain kinds of sexânone of this suddenly becomes untrue just because the sex act weâre talking about is performing oral sex on a woman.
itâs no less gross for a woman to try and pressure you into performing a sex act you donât enjoy and donât want to perform than it would be for someone of any other gender identity to do so and itâs not okay for a woman to tell you that youâre ânot really a lesbian/not really bi/not really whateverâ if youâre not willing to perform certain sex acts on her or on any other women. these things are sex shaming, manipulative, and abusive no matter who theyâre coming from.
please remember that youâre allowed to have sexual preferences no matter what your orientation is. youâre allowed to say no to certain sex acts and have that respected. no one of ANY gender identity has the right to shame you for that or try to pressure you into performing sex acts you donât want to perform. no one of ANY gender identity or sexuality has the right to deny your orientation based on your sexual preferences.
Only day you can reblog this
my fave greek history story to tell is that of agnodice. like she noticed that women were dying a lot during childbirth so she went to egypt to study medicine in alexandria and was really fucking good but b/c it was illegal for women to be doctors in athens she had to pretend to be a man. and then the other doctors noticed that she was 10x better than them and accused her of seducing and sleeping with the women patients. like they brought her to court for this. and she just looked at them and these charges and stripped in front of everyone like âyeah. im not fucking your wivesâ and then they got so mad that a woman was better at their jobs then them that they tried to execute her but all her patients came to court and were like âare you fucking serious? she is the reason you have living children and a wife.â so they were shamed into changing the law and that is how women were given the right to practice medicine in athens
RB for a larger sample size im super curious here
