So, um, I’m contemplating writing a crossover fanfic between Trials Of Apollo, and a story I dreampt up called The Five Rooms.

Basically Lester, 10 years after the events of TOA, get’s trapped in a house with Leslie who literally just escaped his own mess of problems (I’ll make a different post explaining if I haven’t already). The house has no obvious ways out, and is surounded by densely wooded forest, and a large thick wall. They’re attacked by monsters nightly, and basically have to figure out a way to survive while also trying to find a way out.

Okay, so a few things here have changed. Kolasi’s scar is on the left side, and he can’t see through that eye, but it doesn’t remain shut. He ranges 17-22 each dtl.

Neggero/Neggra only comes off as really rude, and salty when really they’re just bluntly honest, and sarcastic. That was just an error I made back then.

It’s now spelled Hamairah.

I'm on a "Through Worlds content" role right now so I'm posting more content for them all at once whether yall like it or not.

so, I've been reblogging the Tag-that-oc oc questions so Imma put a little backstory into the characters.

Luna is an amnesiac arsonist who doesn't fear death because she's died and come back. Her most defining feature is her silver hair despite the fact that she is clearly a teenager. she ranges between 16 to 21 during each dimensional time loop (or DTL as the kids call it).

Kolasi is two people; the spirit of an old conqueror named Magadon who died do to over using his magic, and summoning more monsters than he could control, and a young fire user named Leo, who is from a world that is like this weird mix of Harry Potter, and Percy Jackson, but isn't (trust me, it isn't). His two most defining features are his hight (he's very tall , almost has to bend down when he enters a room), and the long scar over his right eye that stretches from his chin to above his hairline. He can still see through his right eye though, just with so much more zoom and clarity that it gives him a headache. he ranges between 18 to 23 during each DTL.

Neggero/Negra is a living shadow, they are gender fluid and can change their appearance depending on the gender they are that day. they are really rude, and salty, but they hardly mean to be. they're most defining feature is their shadowy grey/chestnut skin-tone. they range between 14 to 19 during each DTL.

Zvezda is a living star, he's really emotional, and very nice. He's kinda like the emotional support of the group, and the medic of the group... He's also the only one who can keep his twin from being rude, Luna likes to quote angry birds with these two; "water is the softest thing, but can penetrate mountains and earth". his most defining feature is he can glow in the dark. He ranges between 14 to 19 during each DTL.

Jack is a human, he had gotten into an argument with his best friend, and ran off. getting in between a dimension travel portal, and a young boy (who eventually dimension traveled anyway) he ended up dimension traveling.

a dimensional time loop is the duration of time a dimension traveler spend in each dimension, DT (dimension travel) ages range from 12 to 20 and DTLs last five years. a woman named Hamarah is in charge of dimension travel, and the mythic games. people normally dimension travel because they give too much magic to the world, throwing it off balance, or take to much magic from the world, again throwing it off balance.

hi I dreamt up a story again.

It’s about three games. every 10 to 100 years a woman that is probably in some way related to God (JK JK but still she hella powerful) picks a mythology and a curtain number of teens to represent the counsel of that mythology, and has the representatives play these hunger games level versions of playground games (no one dies, well they do, but these games take place in the dream’s of the teens, and whatever skills they acquire in the dream stay with them IRL and they get no rest while in this dream because science) like hide and seek, tag, paintball/dodgeball, even mafia once (but like, the version where it’s cupid, guardian angle, and a tad more PG). one time (the time the story/dream takes place in) is during when the Greek mythology was chosen. 

The dream/story takes place from the POV of the representative of Apollo. if the representatives die it’s them losing the game, and the god/goddess they represent has to spend the equivalent of the total sum of days until either everyone loses or the game is won as mortal (did that make any sense? no? say the representative of Aphrodite died on day 1th in the 20 day  lasting 1st game, the 4th of the 6 day lasting 2nd game, and the entirety of the final game. the goddess herself would have to spend 20 days as a mortal). 

The first game is selected as hide & seek, and everyone has to find a sage trapped throughout this legends of Zelda style map and free them in order to win. each time a sage is released it gives the representative of the equivalent god 1 or 2 powers they can use for the rest of the games, and even outside the games if they were to know how (which no one ever does). or at least, all sages must be freed it doesn’t really matter by who.

and because in this dream I was the representative of Apollo, this kid’s treating this whole thing like a video game, and knows how to survive in the wilderness, which is kinda where the hide & seek game takes place.

Of course I get all my Greek info from Uncle Rick so have fun.

Current concept idea is that Apollo knows as soon as he meets someone how they're going to die.

This goes hand in hand with another concept that is People who know the future can do nothing to alter it.

Both of which come together to explain Why Apollo is The Way He is.

Favourite thing: When a character finds out just how badly someone they care about has suffered and you can see the immediate shift from shock/horror into a fierce, protective anger.

yknow ever since people realized tumblr isnt dead and have decided to flock here from twitter and tiktok ive seen a huge influx of people in fandom spaces who dont reblog anything. at all.

like, i used to have an art blog with 340 followers. not a ton but not a small amount either given how this website works with creators. and in my experience back then even the ones who only left likes still reblogged other things or at least posted their own stuff. literally the only empty blogs were clearly bots.

but on this New art blog, i've had so many people with fandom-specific headers and icons with actual usernames as urls and some kind of title or description, but have. Nothing. no posts. all they do is like things. and it's always public, too. their following list and their likes list.

and honestly all it makes me think is that these people are New and also don't know how tumblr works. how likes don't give exposure. not even in a "oh, i know it doesn't give exposure, but i'm still going to reblog anyways" way, but in a genuine honest to god straight up doesn't realize tumblr likes don't work like twitter's.

PLEASE please if you're from tiktok or twitter or whatever please reblog people's art both fandom and original if you like it!! and maybe actually pad out your blog's content in some way so people won't potentially see you as a bot and block you.

You have a lot of OCs that intrigued me but I gotta ask about Michel. How did they get raven wings?? Why do they have a parasite?? Does the parasite like… talk?? Is it humanoid?? A lotta questions about them on the brain

Well, Michel was born with raven wings, a tail, and raven talons. Being chased from place to place because of them, and being too scared to actually make connections to people because he’s being chased. Having to hide his animal parts in order to go anywhere among people safely.

As for the parasite. Well...

When Michel was a teen, he did a lot of research about powerful items/creature that can give stuff to you. You know, like a magical macgufin. His goal being to understand them, and create with them a place that was safe for people like him to live in.

He ended up traveling to different places to find these things. One of the ones he looked into was Gungy, who could protect, heal, and teach those he had made a deal with.

Michel, not knowing what he was getting into, thought that looking for Gungy would be a great idea. The book never mentions what type of deal (nor did it mention he was a parasite), and Michel was sure he could work something out with the being.

So, he went looking for him. But Michel gave up after a while, and went home thinking he had wasted his time.

He hadn’t.

Gungy talks to him in his head. He enters the body through the ear, and has partial control over a person. The weaker their mind, the easier he can manipulate them.

Gungy, in all his glory, is kinda like a spoiled prince with a dirty mind, and a strange amount of pop-culture references at his disposal. Wich is funny, since he’s from a high fantasy midieval-esque story.

Michel ends up losing control to Gungy at one point, and the two end up one mind in the fight of who had controll.

As for the deal, Gungy gets a place to live.

if someone close to you is disabled, you have to take that into account when you go places with them. you have to think about accessibility, fatigue, pain, flare ups, etc because its exhausting and hurtful when people who say they love you dont bother putting the effort in to make sure you ACTUALLY have a good time.

After awhile, they became a whole lil species I made called doodlights (in my mind’s eye they’re always glowing), and I now wanna make one for as many people as possible. So yeah.

This is the reference sheat for appearences of a doodlight.
